I can only assume that his big news will be Britt and Lansbury signing new deals. Down to me I'd have sold Lansbury as he doesn't merit a pay rise. We needed a striker that scores goals it's quite simple. We have a long list in Dex, Fryatt, Vesillios, Lars and now Dimitru that just don't.

FAWAZ promised a signing that would make us 'top 6', then sells Burke and says all will become clear by Wednesday. I for one have always supported FAWAZ and have given him the benefit of the doubt, however as we are being informed that is likely to be that - where is the marquee signing? I sincerely hope that FAWAZ has not duped every single supporter and we are made to eat our words! Still time for one to come under the radar. Not impressed with the signings so far - although I like Carayol, he is certainly not as good as burke therefore we have weakened our squad.

I think I read somewhere that ulloa is joining or has joined Swansea. I don't think Rhodes will want to drop back down to the championship so I would take a punt on Lee gregory from Millwall. scores goals.

I totally agree that Fawaz should be able to get his money back and that the club should be run self-sufficiently as some other clubs do.
However when Fawaz makes statements like he has, that is not right if he does not deliver. I however do not think that will be the case and we will sign one of Gyan, Rhodes or Ulloa befor 11pm.
There has to be a marquee signing, the quality is not there so far.

There is not much chance the club will even pay back the interest on FAH's loan. Our best hope is that someone buys him out, but it won't be the Greek bloke. Meanwhile the club continues to slide down the tubes. Can anyone really see a way out of this mess?

But the deal he took for Burke was ridiculous. Should have had loan back and sell on fees. So unless he brings in a marquee signing of the likes of rhoades he weakened side.

I don't think it's the fact that Burke was sold that has annoyed most people (as we knew it was probably coming. ) I think the fact that Fawaz has come out on Twitter and said blatantly that it's going to be reinvested into the squad, and that the last time we sold important players we got Antonio and Assombalonga. And now we have spent the money on no one.
No disrespect to the players that have come in, let's see how they play first, but we needed that marquee signing to please fans, and it's looking like it's not coming.

My mate who is a Spurs season ticket holder and gave us his tickets (and set elsewhere with another mate) said he saw the difference being Spurs' bench vs ours and that the subs were the difference and we tired too. I pointed out our true bench was already on the pitch. Thought Tesche did well again when he came on.
Spurs fans were very complimentary about Lars. They thought he unsettled their play and was partly responsible for them panicking and mis-hitting paces. They commented if he had a bit more pace Spurs would have been in real trouble. I thought he did ok. Not Brit but did his job and held his own.
If you want negativity you should have been in the Spurs end (my wife is a Spurs fan). They said we looked like Brazil in comparison to them. Forest always first to the ball and showed commitment. Spurs lacklustre. Fans around said Spurs would only score from distance. De Vries had no chance with their first - I was behind that goal. Only when their subs come on did they have some ideas and pace and all agreed they would not have unlocked. Us if the Mason goal had not sparked them. It was a shame not to see Britt and Antonio play; we would have nailed them as they were disorganised and had no confidence after West Brom.
