I have been a Forest fan for 45 years. I know others on here longer. This owner is on another level and I just want the chaos to stop. He hired Edu, he wanted to spend £170m. Now he's going to let him go. He hired Clattenberg, he fired Clattenberg. He ran on the pitch and confronted Nuno the beginning of the end. He hired Ange. He sacked Ange. He hired Dyche, he sacked Dyche. And now he has hired VP. Apparently Edu chose Luca from Italy, but didn;t decide Dyche was going. God knows how this will end.
This season is turning into a well-signposted disaster. The signs have been there since we got promoted and the constant change. We have 5-6 very good players, yet have added little to them despite signing 25+ other players since we got promoted. Even if we stay up, most of those 5-6 players are bound to want to leave (that's kind of logical given this constant flux). Where is the structure, what is the plan? What are our economics going to look like if we do get relegated?
I wasn't doing the Mexican Wave when Dyche got appointed but he was winning more points per game than Nuno averaged despite the recent drop off, so we got rid of him despite beating Liverpool, Spurs, Brentford etc with Dyche. As a fan, I've dreamt of getting back to the Premier League, but why oh why must we make such a dog's breakfast out of it . let the chaos stop please otherwise it could be another 23 years before we return.
Ambition alone doesn't guarantee success.

Dog's breakfast? Have you not noticed we are playing a Europa game in Istanbul this afternoon? How likely was that before this owner? He's made mistakes, but the good outweighs the bad, in my opinion.

Yes we are in Europe, just what we wanted and his money helped that cause but the club is not stable, and at Forest we don't do it easy and this Owner has helped that cause also so enjoy the ride or not!. We are in his hands your opinions are interesting. ?

The only constant is change with this hierarchy. It's been an eventful and expensive transition just to be a Premier League team. A lot of ups and downs, but this season, from the preseason, has been a pig's ear - I for one am not looking forward to next season - a lot of damage has been done and it will take another masterclass performance to turn it all around imo.

The club hasn't been stable since the committee sold to Scholar. We've had Doughty and Fawaz, all terrible failures both on and off the pitch. Then along comes a good owner that isn't saddling us with debt and has got us playing at the highest level. Not sure what some of you expect and what you've been doing for the previous 25 years.

Agree with Agen (again). I think it's because we have some relative success to show with the Europa play-offs that we feel doubly let down with the state we are in now. It is hard to point a finger without aiming another digit! What an opportunity we had this season.
Now look at it - our Premier future in jeopardy. As Mr Cliche said, "You couldn't make it up."

I have been without internet for 3 weeks so will give my view. A big mistake by Big M to sack Dyche ( even the TV pundits agree ).
His win ratio was good ie 12th in the league. Mistakes? Maybe not starting Netz vs Leeds, but a point with 10 men vs CP and a draw against wolves - not there result last night vs Arsenal are all not a reason to be sacked.
So was it some players who got him sacked? Who ever stabbed him in the back should be ashamed and leave the club. If improved fitness was an issue with some players it's a joke. Allegedly if it is the Brazilian players well they shouldn't have come to play English football.
VP s CV is not a patch on Dyche's. Why Big M didn't contact Chris Wood who played with Dyche at Burnley we don't know. We don't also know who is advising Big M, except all I believe non UK. Who should be the manager of our club, I don't know and patently no one except VP would accept this poison chalice. I suspect we will pull through as the Andersons, MGWs and Williams will play for the supporters. Next season will be a rebuild but another poor season in the offing if the current recruitment squad are in control

Most of the sins rest with Sky and its gluttony. I have seen so many humble clubs go into football heaven (to the fans supporting). You need someone I wouldn't call humble, but someone with backbone and spirit to take the Saudis on. Remember someone on here, a long time ago, saying they should stick to falconry, and I've quoted them cpl times since.
For me, to see a Greek's face going through the same confusion as me (tells me he actually cares). Do I go along with all his frustrations? Far from it. But that's it with the fans on here sometimes. We won 2 x European Cups, and now want results yesterday. Gotta be honest, I've had more than my moments.

When we are long gone, the history books will show Big M took Forest to the prem for 5 seasons, and it's likely that will be the measure of whether he's viewed as a successful owner or not.

Why, 2star? At one point we were buried. Till Cooper came along, he did not always f*** up.
