Nottingham Forest are closing in on a shock move for Martin ‘O Neill who has been in advanced talks with the club this week.
It is believed if an agreement is reached, the former Aston Villa boss will leave his post as Republic of Ireland manager and leave assistant manager Roy Keane, who already has managerial experience at clubs including Ipswich town in the Championship to take over.
1.) To be fair I think it would be a good move for both parties. O'neil said himself that he needed a new challenge so took the Eire job but has come out in the last few weeks and said he misses the day to day contact with the players. I would be happy with this appointment but we'll just have to see what actually happens as so far we should have about four managers already after the '. announced as manager tomorrow' posts.
2.) No chance! Read the independant article with Neil warlock. I'm afraid the reason we have not got a manager in place is because no one wants the job!
At the start of this week either warlock or fawaz were telling lies I have a sneaky feeling that our chairman might be the problem, apparently the dealwas one nd peltier agreed before the eam was discussed. As warlock said ' his idea of interference was very different to my idea of interference. Anyone who thinks word doesn't get around to other managers is dillusional. The peltier signing was just unprofessional and basically peltier is sitting in a dressing room today by mistake! I don't expect him to play!
{Ed034's Note - and there is the problem. Other clubs as well as ourselves have been touting warnock for a couple weeks, this has been confirmed by numerous people. Warnock came on and knew this, so asked for him straight away. Yet even though this had been stated, you would rather listen to warnock big himself up, than believe what has been started elsewhere and would rather back warnock than our own owner.
There is no reason for you not to back fawaz going on what is being said by him, so there must be I other reason you do not want to believe him and would rather believe suggestions that the press make

Expect Derby to spend big again £ 20 million +, Chairman says one last go hit or bust before the FFP of 3 years! Jake Buxton would be a excellent addition to our team (Forest boy through and trough) Get rid of some deadwood?

If he came here I would guarantee he would give 200% every game but the way he celebrated against us is a far cry from when he was a kid.

Please guys do not start slagging people off with regards the loan deal of Ben Hamer. Football is a business and football clubs don't do things for free! FOR EXAMPLE FOREST CAN SIGN PLAYERS AT ALL AGE GROUPS UPTO 21. Saying no more on this one.

You lot are a funny bunch! Burke still has lots of work to become a top player. Fawaz sold him so that the team can potentially be made stronger, don't forget FFP still! Not looking good with the investment situation either, Fawaz is a business man and if that means we sell a player to get more additions then so beit! Oliver Burke would not have got us promotion, the team will (can) . Ask yourself this if he was that good how come no team paid more than Red Bull did?

They have to use the city Ground at least 3 times as a requirement to play in the u21 league they are in. All the club's have too, whether it's now or later on in the season

Freedman is the new manager
I remember when Tim played against us for Southampton s far back as of Wembley in the Zenith Data System. (92) Pearce got injured that very game (Bret Williams replaced him)
