Bird site source saying Tim Flowers strongly linked to NFFC SP's back room staff

1.) 16 May 2014
Tim Flowers says a 'fantastic opportunity has arisen at a big name club in the Football League. ' That'll be a job with SP at Forest then!

2.) 16 May 2014
Not us, Coventry City FC

3.) 16 May 2014
Wasn't he a keeper ed? Would he be any good for us?

{Ed034's Note - yes and a very good one. He'll bring experience and has a good reputation as a coach

4.) 16 May 2014
If its the bloke I'm thinking of didn't he play for England and Blackburn?

{Ed034's Note - yes

5.) 16 May 2014
Comes from good footballing stock. His Dad played for Wolves and England

I can't believe people can't remember him as a player. God I feel old all of a sudden! 😣

{Ed034's Note - I was thinking the cant same thing :-(

7.) 16 May 2014
How do you think I feel Ed, I can remember his Dad playing

{Ed034's Note - hahaha

8.) 16 May 2014
It surely wasn't that long ago that flowers was one of the best keepers In the premier league. He was part of the title winning team I'm sure when Blackburn had the SAS up front banging them in. He will be a good addition for sure

9.) 16 May 2014
I did mention this a couple of weeks ago, the deal is done for him to join as gk coach

10.) 16 May 2014
I remember when Tim played against us for Southampton s far back as of Wembley in the Zenith Data System. (92) Pearce got injured that very game (Bret Williams replaced him)

11.) 17 May 2014
Tim's Dad Ron was a legend for Wolves. Ron had a shop in Wolverhampton, Ron Flowers Sports. I ordered in the Forest away kit, not realising at the time it was to be the hideous yellow monstrosity. (1995 I think?) I'll add a new post for the best/worst kit we've had! All the best, Jon

12.) 17 May 2014
Im more interested in news on a CEO. More unpaid bills and talk of liquidation. Bad press or what? Come on NFFC let's make the most important signing of the new season.

{Ed034's Note - the press organisation who released this 'bad press' have since removed it from their website as it is all sorted. This is the same press organisation who said we were under a transfer embargo just before we went and signed nice players.
We know a CEO is coming

13.) 17 May 2014
He was coaching Kidderminster Harriers in the Conference last season. They have released him because 'He has been offered a post with a Football League club'.

14.) 17 May 2014
Its still all over the net ed and you can't deny it looks poor on NFFC yet again. Our CEO couldn't come quicker. It must be hard for Fawaz to run all this on his own. Any names on a CEO?

{Ed034's Note - yes it is but it should not have been printed. Even the a to nottinhgam forest journo who wrote it agrees with that, hence why he got it deleted.
I could write a story and post it on here. I bet within 24hrs it would be all over social media as fact, even if there are none.

15.) 17 May 2014
They removed the article because it most likely wasn't true and therefore potential libel against that paper. It went down literally less than an hour after it went up which says a great deal. That paper hardly has a good history of writing positive news about the Reds and have made things up often which many tabloids do which it has become. Wish those reporters would become take more responsibility when they write rubbish for example get fired or fined personally. Maybe they'd then stick to truth and facts.

{Ed034's Note - the papers doesn't have a good history about writing positive things about anything

16.) 17 May 2014
The new broom is sweeping the club, slowly but surely, every thing and everyone in place by August. Hold onto your hats, its going to be a roller coaster of a ride. U Reds
