If ifs true that Lansbury is wanting to move does it mean the new owners are not showing positive signs, or is it Lansbury showing his true self . Derby at present show more positive direction than us and would offer a way in which he could get into the Premiership . We on the other hand show complete incompetence on the last two years .

lansbury already had the chance to play in the prem a couple of times and turned it down. he's turned a better run club down on a few occasions now so hardly showing his true self. he's been loyal and stayed when things were crap.

Lansbury overrated? he's one of our best players. At the end of the day lansbury is 26 and can see wat a mess we are in. Since he's been with us most of his time has been spent playing for a club that his been in a right old mess and he's stuck around when he had chances to go. I don't blame him at all, he's got to think of his future and with the mess we're in who can blame him for leaving it mite take new owners a couple seasons or more to stabilise us and get us moving in the right direction. If he goes I'll be glad because it got a bit boring hearing the lansbury rumours every summer and january. Funny ya know when we playing Newcastle the other day, I was thinking about all the hoo har lansbury caused when they played at our place and thought I reckon newvastle mite put in for lansbury the type of match winner they'd go for. Low and behold they linked with him, should have put a tenner on it.

I personally believe Mel Morris / Derby are just sticking bids in to wind up the up the fans and stoke the fire. Morris is Derby born and a true fan, so knows exactly what he is doing making this move. They have gone after Antonio, Britt and now Lansbury. Interestingly they didn't go for Burke who was probably the best out of the lot.

Personally l think Lansbury is our best midfielder and to sell him would be a bad decision, l know l have said Derby at present would be the best option this minute for him but he would be daft to leave before the yanks have had time to give their imput on the clubs future. Any red player at the moment should sit tight . Rumour has it that Fawaz is having driving lessons for sit on mowers and line painting which would stand him in good stead for his next venture on a five year apprenticeship .

I hope he stays. He may not be on it every game but he drives the team forward. I think if he left then the whole team morale (whats left of it) will go out the window. We need him to be captain and stay. New owners to come in and lift the spirit of our club.

Yeah let him go. After all we've got the ever youthful Vaughan, Cohen the constantly injured and kamakasi kasami - what's all the fuss about ? Cheerio Henri do you need a lift down the 52 mate?

From his point of view, this might be his last chance to leave a club championship-bound for the next 2 years, and go up a League. I wouldn't blame him for going and good luck to him if he does. We still have good midfielders yet to come through the youth system.
