i don't know about most of you on here, but personally the football through the world cup has been totally ruined by allowing all the pushing shoving holding and riding on the backs of players, which has spoiled the the flow of the football. why it's been allowed needs to be addressed and stopped.

i can see this being a big problem when the new season starts up. unless the fa don't sort this out. England last night were not good, mainly because of the Columbians not allowing the football to flow. the end result was deserved.

Without the pushing, shoving and giving daft penalties away England would be on the plane home! As soon as the Colombians stopped cheating and realised they were running out of time they played us off the park. England bottled it again, poor really.

2.) 04 Jul 2018 16:57:43
Sorry Billy england just stopped them from playing all game then got shell shocked from the equaliser, no penalties against Tunisia, 6 - 1 against Panama so the 2 penalties made no difference to that result and Columbia's constant dirty tactics just stopped england playing anything that resembled football the ref should of stopped Colombia from there play acting and protesting it was embrassing, don't get why fans are so hard on teams, in no game should you have to wait 4 minutes from a penalty being giving to it being taken oh they scored in the injury time gained from there cheating sorry ref and Columbia were a disgrace not England.

3.) 04 Jul 2018 18:38:53
And where did our goal come from? That’s right, a penalty . It came as a result of all the grappling that was going on. That was the point I was making. How many did we score from open play? Zero. England were pretty poor, simple as that.

4.) 04 Jul 2018 19:19:47
Whether from a set piece or open play it is still called a goal. And what do goals make?

5.) 04 Jul 2018 20:49:22
Dear o dear, yes a Goal is a goal agreed but the conversation is about the constant pushing and shoving and that gifted us a goal. Idiotic on their part, more than capable of beating England without all the cheating. You people just argue for the sake of argument.

6.) 04 Jul 2018 21:50:30
Billabong your a hard man to please,
We won and that's all that matters we were never in any danger until they equalised, pickford was a spectator for the majority of the game.
Columbia got what they deserved and should have been playing with ten men, headbutts are a sending off offence,so they were lucky on that one.
So when you say England were poor, columbia were worst.

7.) 04 Jul 2018 23:31:00
When you look at how that game panned out, the intimidation, hostile crowd, the late equalizer and then to win on penalties this young team just came of age.
Confidence will be sky high going into the next game to overcome a team we have always struggled against. Then who knows as they learn how to win tournament football?

the long drop to the bottom as gained momentum. burton, hull, reading. qpr. can't see many points from those games. until the bread man is gone. downward spiral will continue. a manager he aint, get rid.

1.) 15 Oct 2017 19:48:34
Well it's a good job we have Bolton Burton Birmingham and Brentford in this league cause we are a lot better than them and they will be relegation candidates I think January mw will add some more quality signings and mid table we will finish which will be a good first season for mw coyrrs

2.) 15 Oct 2017 20:02:16
MW not be there in January

3.) 15 Oct 2017 20:31:14
What quality will he add?more attacking players?if he couldn’t see we needed a defender or two from last season that shows his mind isn’t on the right track.

4.) 15 Oct 2017 21:45:37
I really think he will be in for defenders in jan. We will be ok. Stay up and carry on the rebuild of our beloved club.

5.) 16 Oct 2017 06:55:24
if he is still there in january then forest are doomed. mw as no tactical brain at all.and if he is still at forest, then they deserve to be were they are,

6.) 16 Oct 2017 08:41:05
We will see Brazil me personally I'm sick of changing managers every 6 months it's not like there's another Brian clough out there to miraculously turn this club round after 10 or 20 games this club needs a manager to stay in a seat for at least 2 or 3 seasons I'm not saying mw is the man but at least give him a season

7.) 16 Oct 2017 08:42:30
Sutton please tell me what quality defenders were out there to buy for the 4 million he was gave to spend on players he laid say he would try to bring in quality and not just any old player not sticking up for him would just like to know who you would of bought in

23 Jul 2017 11:25:22
time to get the right players and the right attitude out of them to gain promotion; 11th year in the Championship.

blidredd

1.) 23 Jul 2017 11:41:45
That seems you expect, it takes luck, or time.

30 May 2017 05:51:07
i always thought that stopping and just a slight hesitant run on taking penalties was outlawed by the fa. time that the rules were changed. should be a straight approach to the ball not hanging back. any that do should be red carded.

blidredd

1.) 30 May 2017 08:23:14
Blidred red card a bit harsh? Yellow at most or goal from penalty disallowed perhaps?

2.) 30 May 2017 08:28:21
Also I honestly think dicking about during your run up puts off the penalty taker rather than the keeper! The best penalty I ever saw was Jermaine Jenas v Stockport I think in a League Cup shoot out many years ago when he was just out of the Academy, a delicious cheeky chip over the already committed goalkeeper. I thought then this young man will go far!

3.) 30 May 2017 09:38:01
That game was long enough 3 hours of my life wasted.
If it was down to playing till you scored, they'd still be playing now.
Game was pants, worst ever.
Two teams who cudn't fill the stadium with fans either.

4.) 30 May 2017 10:52:18
Goalies are meant to stay on their line but never do. This is where refs are crap. Also the handball in the cup final saturday was outrageous and the ref only a few yards away. Ball delivered with both handsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

5.) 30 May 2017 18:05:51
lol, this really makes me laugh, we haven't got anything to moan about as our season is finished but find something else quick enough!

I though it was a decent game to be honest, extra-time was pants but that was because they were both blowing out their backsides by then and no one wanted to lose.

6.) 30 May 2017 20:25:31
Ginger kid, often agree with you but that game was shocking!

7.) 31 May 2017 09:09:48
ha ha, I was in the pub knocking them back with my mates so could have been watching with beer goggles. I thought it looked quite end to end.

07 Jan 2017 17:16:52
so do all the die hard montainer supporters still want to keep him after this abyssmal game

blidredd

1.) 07 Jan 2017 17:29:55
We can concentrate on promotion now.

2.) 07 Jan 2017 17:35:55
Never thought I'd ever say it, but, I'd go all out to try and get N. Clough. Whatever his playing methods, at least he commands respect from his squad to play in a disciplined manner and has experience in this league and lower, which we may well be.

3.) 07 Jan 2017 17:47:08
Let's hope the new owners have done there homework and bring in a manager they have chose and not make the same mistake as fawaz as done on a number of occasions and listen to who the fans want 😎

4.) 07 Jan 2017 18:04:03
Correct skegs, a young manager who does a fine job with limited resources and no money. Dougie !

5.) 07 Jan 2017 18:14:26
Lmfao please can we stop with the jokes today positive πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜Ž

6.) 07 Jan 2017 18:20:36
Haha, thought you would like that. It won't happen but Dougie knew more about what is required than this guy.

7.) 07 Jan 2017 18:48:58

no good having a guy who can score lots of goals if the defence is not good enough and leaks goals worse than a collander

karanka is not the problem. it,s the crap that go out on the pitch.only the goalposts good enough to keep for the next season. forest a team of weaklings against, hulks, boys trying to do a mans job.too many are just not good enough week in week out, you see the same problems with the same players, yet they still play the next game. time to unload and buy some decent experienced player.who are what they say, pro footballers, not the ones who are dreaming that they are.

typical for england. too slow to get forward, sit on a 1 goal lead and then play like accrington stanley. dream over for 4 years, maybe another 52 years. at least i watched them win in 1966. never see another win
