hi ed, any truth in sancidino silva signing for forest, not sure if he is portugese. seems like another really promising youngster?

dusty

{Ed034's Note - I'm out for the day with my little girl, so not heard anything, but a few people have sent this in so it must have a source

1.) Would be a gamble, hopefully on a free or very cheap, really unknown at any level

2.) There a photo on facebook him with the barca lad at a hotel in west bridgeford, (beeches hotel)

3.) Looks like a very good young player on video. Would be nice if this one proves to be our next acquisition.

4.) He was on trial with Celtic!

5.) Got no facts that he is signing, but on his IG account, he's eating in West bridgford and a picture of him playing in a forest kit. Read somewhere online that the beeches are looking after a number of trialists and agents.

6.) Was handed a trial by Celtic a fortnight ago and apparently Besiktas / Olympiakos interested. No idea if there's any truth in Forest's interest but it doesn't seem Celtic thought enough of him to go for it.

7.) He is in nottingham now and the deal is done, I love the fact we are looking to bring in youth even if not all of them work out I am sure a couple will

8.) 19 Jul 2014 18:21:11
ed grant from the academy has confirmed it

{Ed034's Note - cheers

9.) Bet the beeches hotel is more than happy with forests activity in the transfer window their turn over must be up. Fawaz said last year we would invest in youth for the future and he's as good as his word. With a season together we could be back in europe within two years.

10.) He's on trial with the Under 21's not signed yet. He scored for the Under 21s tonight

john marshall appointed head of recruitment. looks like he has bags of experience. good move from stuart. what's your thoughts ed.

dusty

{Ed034's Note - I doth know much about him other than what is common knowledge on the internet.
The main thing is Pearce trusts him

1.) Where does it say this ed can't find it on the net?

{Ed034's Note - john Percy has reported it

2.) Sorry who is John Percy again?

{Ed034's Note - journalist

3.) Confirmed by Pearce on talkradio. Said John is finishing FA duties in Brazil before starting with us

4.) Guys the backroom staff Psycho is putting in is top draw! Proven connections with the FA and youth set ups, so happy! What you think Ed?

{Ed034's Note - totally agree

5.) Impressed with him so far going about his business the right way. Making sure the foundation are right.

6.) All we need now is a CEO.

7.) Our foundations are becoming nice, real nice. I only hope Fawaz and us fans has the patience on building for the future. SP needs at least 3 seasons as our man.

8.) I agree he needs time and support, as does every manager, however, Fawaz's finger will never be far from the trigger if it starts to go a bit pear

9.) If fawaz sacks psycho I'm going to support someone else : (

{Ed034's Note - if fawaz sacks psycho, it's because he's not doing his job right

10.) Think you're right ed if Fawaz sacks Psycho its because Fawaz isn't doing his job right ;-)

Stop buying/loaning overated, overpriced injured/semi fit players that produce very little. by all means pay good money for really up coming talent like we have recently, but for gods sake i wish we would stop having our pants pulled down several times a year with obvious injury prone players. i dread to think how much money is sat in the treatment room. . AGAIN!!

No brinsley i don't think they get injured on purpose of course not, but you can't keep taking chances with injured/injury prone players, as frustrating as it is sooner or later you must move on, these 3 players in particular have been injured more than they have played. fact!!!

Sorry my patience has worn out with hobbs, wilson and vaughan, never were fit, never going to be fit, just another season of disruption through the same injury prone players, it may be harsh but pearce has got to be getting as fed up with it as us fans. as good as these players are or were (when fit)its incredibly frustrating for all involved, tough decisions need to be made if this squad is to progress.

Lots of baggage with this one. very creative and dangerous on his day as we all know. we are desperate for creativity in the side, when reid doesn't play we seem to struggle, which says a lot about our powder puff midfield.
