OG said there are three new signings in the pipeline but refused to say anything about them as it could increase their costs. Sounds like he's quite happy. He also laughed when he was asked about MGW and said we aren't selling any first team players.

After watching the second team put out a real solid performance, the only one that looked like he had no clue was Bakwa. After being put clean through, he just stopped like a deer in headlights. The real bonus is Luca Netz; he was a threat going forward but not so good getting back, but the potential is there and all the misgivings that the previous recruitment team had at just over one million pounds that looks to be the best business they have done.

Hutchinson, Bakwa and CHO probably won't get much game with OG's wing backs system, unless it's as fully attacking subs to rescue a losing situation.

I think the match on Sunday will be the first time we will see what Og believes to be our first team. So far we have looked quite good in friendlies. Still unsure of the frontline. Sangare looks solid but his passing has been awful, Netz looked good. Aina would only last 45 minutes in Og system. Victor looked better, and we can't get on his back for one mistake, although it was embarrassing.
Ndoye seems to have found a bit of confidence but I think his brain is too slow when receiving the ball. I still look for a bid forward to come in as I can't see Wood getting many minutes. He was too slow last season and takes too long to get inside from attacks, slowing progression.

I think all the links with CP players is just born from the lack of information about signings just OG links, I can't see CP doing any business with us for a while. No information on any mf or striker apart from Tammy Abraham and please just nooo!

I still think they will go in for Bergvall, but at the right price, and probably last day of window. As for a striker, I think that all depends on Kali and Woods leaving.

They will only sign a striker (twist) if a good one is available for the right price. If not, it's stick.

For those who think a few million is pocket change, the deal for Diamande went through after no other club came in for him and we stuck to our valuation. Playing hard ball negotiations will help with PSR, FFP etc. Don't forget some agents don't play the same game and will see we are willing to move on, just so they know ultimatums are a one way street and hard ball tactics means one team will be regretting the negotiation.
Diomande's agent ended up the fool.

Even if we'd bid more, Sporting would still have waited to see whether someone came in and bid more. You can't sign a player until the club selling the player thinks they won't get more, or they want to release the player.

I read an EP report earlier that explains why the transfer of Osamunde Dembele is taking so long. I hope we get that one sealed. The lazy reporting from EP and they want to charge us to read the unprofessional reports that are making.
I am sure they have proof readers or is that all AI because if it is AI they need to get better software.

Reid's statement says he is weighing up his options, so he may be looking at CL games, or it may be wages. His agent is obviously trying to get him the best deal, which will also be considered by his agent as he will be in a percentage.
It's an auction, and, as any auction, you need to set a target that is valuable. If the price goes up like Bergval, it's time to strike elsewhere.

Lorenzo Lucca looks like a pretty good prospect 6'7" and looks good with the ball at his feet, his arial threat is something we are really missing. His stats aren't great but looking at some of his videos he seems far more capable than anything we have at the moment.

I have supported Forest for nearly sixty years I can't remember when my dad first took me to a match but many times I wasn't old enough to understand but my mum's family were all magpies so he instilled it into me and my brothers before anyone else could change our minds. I can't remember when we had a chairman that weren't complained about.
Unless we have a pocket deeper than EM we can't affect that. I see the amount of money and effort EM has given as pretty unique. He will make mistakes like Ange but he put his hand up to that and paid from his own pocket, I can't understand the constant criticism this is our most successful period post BC.

I agree, when players move on, so do we move on. Anderson will always be remembered for what he did at Forest, but that chapter has ended. People think we can just sign our previous players and get the best out of them when they have failed elsewhere. Elanga, Jonson, Garner have all moved on; Garner is the only one to have shown the potential that they had with us. The reason Anderson's replacement was not identified, I believe, is EM was looking for a different manager, and it seems, according to reports, that OG is identifying targets.
The GK department is light. It's good to see Taiwo looking back to his very best. The most important thing this season was to keep Williams, Sangare and MGW. I still believe we will make 3 signings before the start of the season.

I disagree, Larry, he never angled for a move, and I think EM thought it was time to take the big money. We will see how his value changes after he doesn't play often. Personally, I think even at Man C. he will get regular games.

I think Wood is too slow now, and he's been a great signing, but it would probably be better for him to drop down a league. Maybe he could do a job back in NZ leagues, but his body isn't healing at his age.

All down to Spurs thinking MGW really wants to go, but I have seen a swap deal mooted. Never, even in the deluded Spuds' minds, has anyone suggested a straight swap. All came about because MGW swapped agencies.
