Fantastic performance from everyone in red today. Brit made himself look a real plonker today. We need a strong, vocal midfielder now to put the icing on the cake. Hope we stick with Smith in goal. He was brilliant again today. Dowell is a class act. Same again next Saturday against Leeds. U REDS.

Why do posters keep saying two up front.
If you watch every game when has warbo played two up?
It won't happen he will play only one up till he dies, there is no chance of it happening.
It's mainly 451.
He won't deviate from it only occasionally playing 3 at the back.
So we all need to forget what we might like formation wise.

we have a cracking young talent who banged goals in for the youth and came into the 1st team and scored a couple and played out his skin and you wouldn't rather see Cummings up top with brereton? how about if he played two (won't happen) up top vellios and brereton?

Don't get all this obcession with one up front nonsense.

I've seen us play 4.4.2
I've seen us play 3.5.2
I've seen us play 4.5.1
I've seen us play 4.3.3

Last night we had Carayol Vellios Cummings and Dowell up front.
On Friday we had Clough Murphy McKay and Brererton up front.

Whatever formation we play, we attack as a team and we defend as a team. Leaving 2 up front when we are defending is a risk with little chance of a reward.

Perks brereton is wasted on the wing, if it wasn't him itd be Cummings or vellios on the right wing.
I'm not a fan of his tactics with the squad we have, we have defenders who are not comfortable on the ball, a midfield with no bite and a lone striker not mobile enough, unless you put brereton there.
Just saying he won't change that's all.

When we attacked they were all up front, when Osborn was on the pitch he was up front too. WHEN WE WERE ATTACKING.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd all play with 9 even 10 behind the ball when they are defending.

Yes when we were attacking we were playing 4.1.5.

Murphy was on his own when when we were defending.

The reason Osborn was replaced by Cohen was to reduce our tendency to overcommit players forward!

Those players don't play up front tho wishey they are attacking midfielders. you can't substitute strikers with attacking midfielders and say we play 4-5 up front. lol.

When we we're attacking McKay and Brererton were wingers, Murphy was centre forward with Clough playing off him. All attackers!

We do not play with one up front when we have the ball. Under Warburton it is rare to see us lumping the ball to a big striker. We attack as a team! Not very well, I'll grant you that. But the 4:5:1 formation does become 4:1:5 when we attack, that is the point of playing that system.

Because Osborn still needs to learn to tackle like Vaughan we were exposed against Millwall when they attacked. That is why Cohen came on!

Brian Clough once beat Liverpool with 10 men behind the ball.

Suspect DrN is as frustrated as all of us who have yet to receive them.
Obviously we will have to queue to collect a ticket for our seat on the day ( or night ) .
It doesn't distract from the fact that this has been an almighty debacle the kind of which we thought was well behind us.
I know one bloke who got his yesterday as well as two others that were nothing to do with him.
He has tried to ring ticket office but can't get thrpugh.
He sent an email and got the automated " we will get back to you in 10 days.
Hed lives near Retford so not like he could just pop in ti the ticket office.

On arrival at ground today was very disappointed to see Blackstock and Wilson were selected. We could have won with a stronger side. Good to see Chris Cohen back. Vaughn put in a solid performance. Deserved man of the match. Hope a new striker is found by Monday. It's all we are missing.

wilson yet again cost forest the match, he needs throwing out the door, useless, forest were by far the better team, without wilson gifting them the goal watford would have been deeply embarrest by forests performance. well played forest.

Why is it some fans always have to pick on one individual player in a team to crucify for one miss kick when we lose?

Wilson miss kicked but a Premiership top 3 striker still had to finish and get in front of Hobbs.

"Yet again" our strikers failed to finish their chances, Ward miss kicked and Oliveria played for a penalty instead of getting his shot away.

If you are going to have a pop then Mills has cost us more goals this season but he is in "credit" because he has scored at the other end!

We have the strongest 4 centre backs in the Championship and a squad and system that can maintain a consistent standard, against a team that have forwards who are streets better than anything our division.

So get real, when did you last see that in a Forest squad that could compete without playing their first choice line-up?

Redinexile, did you see Wilson play today? Too aggressive, gets mugged off and tries to hold them back, then sloppy passing round the back and then to top it off gifts Watford a goal. You really think he's the kind of player to be part of a squad to take us to the prem? Rather give unheard or youth a try than that donkey.

Spot on 2star re Wilson and some fans need to have a scapegoat. As you say, Wilson has done really well given how little game time he's had. All players make errors. end of! And isn't it fantastic to have COHEN back, and playing well.

The reality is we are blessed at CB. You'll get a decent performance from any one of Mills, Hobbs, Wilson or Manc if they're given time to develop a partnership.

However if it keeps Mancienne away from defensive midfield, then yes.

Cjay, we are certainly strong at CB. until it comes to set-piece's? Every time a ball is swung into our penalty area. (from either side) we always struggle to deal with it. Really hope we win tonight. However I think most teams have sussed this side of our game out. Anyway COYR!
