A good club man, he would play anywhere and do his best, whether it be at left back or left wing. Just got on with it, good pro!

Excellent pro and always gave his all. For someone with very little pace, he did very well at left back. One of those combative nuggets in midfield, a very talented hod carrier that every team needs.
As good as McGovern in my opinion.
