Hopefully the Premier League clubs vote in favour of scrapping VAR at next months AGM. It's got worse each season sine it's implementation. Fingers crossed. 🤞🤞.

Won't happen mate don't think top 6 will vote for it

They'll promise to make it better blah blah n we'll still sit for 3 minutes not having a clue what's happening

Don't necessarily blame the tech its the incompetent clowns who operate it and decide when n when not to use I. e. mr ant Taylor n his luton mate.

Why go to Toton it is nearer Pride Park than Trent Bridge there is plenty of land around the Colwick area if we have to move would personly would develop the city ground.

I personally think either the club or the Council are having us on. We would spend hundreds of millions moving, over a few hundred grand a year rent? Makes no sense whatsoever.

The cost of Everton’s new build has risen from £500m to £800m, they are looking for investment for the£300 m extra needed.
These figures just make moving another crazy decision from theForest Board, they don’t even want to pay an £750, 000:a year in rent.
Season cards would cost tons more and if relegation calls a ground at Toton would be half empty and the atmosphere Silz.
Time for of owner to grow up and start being realistic.
All pie in the sky.
CARLO.

16 May 2024 13:11:19
There's a reason though carlo
Brexit and covid put the cost of building materials up massively
If marinakis wants to build a new stadium or revamp the city ground then that's a good thing surely?
After all its his money
Everton have many more problems than just the stadium, Russia going to war hasn't helped them either and an owner that wants out.

Your right but as has been mentioned he's a business man that's what unfortunately football is today business and money. If the idea makes an extra 20 30 million plus a season, then more sponsors, promoters ect, ect the extra money stacks up as a long term investment.
Look at Aresnal I bet the fans were livid at the time on the move from Highbury. But now all settled, atmosphere different but getting there plus a new generation of fans
Still think 50, 000 is a lot of fans, I would say teams like us, Fester and the shaggers could fill 40, 000 if in the prem. Still there's no place like home and the City Ground is that.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 14:46:42
Teams like Chelsea, west ham, Newcastle are averaging 10 to 15 thousand supporters extra every home game. If we are trying to compete in the Premier, we will have to inprove the attendance.
If we move why not a ground share with county, up there stadium to Premier standard, it's a win, win for them. And just down from the City Ground is a piece of land with a car wash place on it, going for auction on Friday for about two million, land does not come cheep, so building in West Bridge ford area I can't see happening.

16 May 2024 17:17:03
As with all old things, they come to the end of the road, just like us old gits that love the City Ground, we die off, and eventually forgotten, when our generation and possibly the one attending the City Ground today dies off, if a new ground is built The City Ground will just become history and forgotten. How fantastic would it be though for the younger generation to attend Forest matches in a fantastic new stadium, but for me not at Toton. Another part of the city fine, the land at the other side of the station great if large enough, I’ve seen all my Forest games at the City Ground obviously and would love to see us stay there with a completely redeveloped Ground, but If that's not possible, and I mean really not possible and we have to move, so be it. Just Football Progress.

Agree0 0Disagree

16 May 2024 18:24:38
Sorry lads got called for my tea, and when her who shall be obeyed calls 😇😇anyway what I wanted to add was, if we do decide to move, I should say that if Mr Marinakis decides we move, I hope the money is fully in place to pay for it, we don't want Mr M spitting his dummy out half way through the build and walking away with the job only half way done, leaving the club in the sh/ + and in big debt, get your money out upfront Mr M. Don't come with big ideas, and not enough cash, I’ve seen it with my sons business, big money people wanting jobs done, not putting money upfront, and going bankrupt 🤪🤪😂half way through the job, with the subbies and workers hundreds of thousands in debt.
So for all our sakes get the financial side sorted, obviously I know that Mr M and his advisers have far more experience than me in these matters, but we have seen these things happen before.
So with an old supporters hart on his sleeve, with my love for my Forest club, all I ask Mr Marinakis, if we leave the City Ground, YOU Better get it fu (£/ #@ well right. 😤😤.

Don't think Sels was too much at fault for Chelsea's first goal it was Danilo who lost possession in midfield and we were swamped quickly.

Terrible, non-dual carriageway roads in the Toton area, flooding on roads which are badly in need of repair, congestion every day around Beeston and the university, lots of speed cameras, traffic lights and appalling drivers. And as you say difficult access for people on the East of the city - Nottingham centre will come to a standstill without infrastructure development. A nightmare.

16 May 2024 09:29:49
If we are to move from our spiritual home of 126 years it needs to be in Nottingham not the Derbyshire border

The nearest town to Toton is Long Eaton that place like Ilkeston is bandit country Forest and Direby fans, avoid Toton like the plague Nottingham stops at Stabbo imo

Loads of land adjacent to Colwick Park Sainsbury's have just opened a superstore there it's near the racecourse and only just across the river from the world famous Coty Ground

I'm a Gedling boy and would love East Nottingham to host the new stadium this area has plenty of land and is ripe for investment around the Colwick area.

I gave my season card up after the pandemic debacle. Watching it without fans took all the importance and enjoyment out of the matches. It was like watching a training match or a meaningless friendly. I thought I might regret it when we got promoted but the VAR rubbish more or less convinced me it was the right decision.

Toton sidings area is approachable from Bessell Lane in Sandiarce and Bostocks Lane Long Eaton on junction 25, M1. Plenty of pubs, hotels and eateries in both locations. I know I lived there all my life. Great place if you can afford to live there. 😁🎈.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 May 2024 20:01:57
They're in Derbyshire aren't they, the pubs wouldn't let you in. I just think it's a big mistake. Mr m won't care he's not targeting the truth supporters he wants the prawn sandwich brigade, those with master cards in their pockets. Can you imagine the cost a season ticket, we couldn't afford to go.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 May 2024 21:43:12
It's not an expensive place to live at all, I spent 44 years living the area
Name a pub that would be local to Toton sidings balloons?
Name a hotel that hasn't been bought by the government to house asylum seekers?
It would need a whole new retail park building and hotels and pubs just like the sheep did, problem is the site would need decontamination after years of diesel spillage.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 May 2024 22:22:54
Balloons.

Can just image 40, 000 people going down bessell Lane n trying to get off m1 or thru stabbo

By the way 2 of the hotels off j25 now being used to house asylum seekers

Never going to happen in toton.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 May 2024 22:52:41
It wouldn't matter if we had a 80k stadium at Toton or anywhere else in Nottingham, balloons and skeggs would never be there
It's crap to watch and the owner is clueless.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 May 2024 22:54:46
🤔 ain't that hotel full of asylum seekers where you done your first bathroom DTP they asked you to fit a bath and you put a dingy in they was so chuffed that they told all there friends and there all coming over on them as bathroom fitters 🤣🤣.

16 May 2024 01:43:18
Sawley ain't Toton 79 and as you say Bessell Lane, Stabbo, Asylum hotels, diesel spillage, M1, Ilkeston, Stanton iron works etc. Why do you think I retired to the coast.
A walk on the beach beats a walk on lkea retail park. 🌞 🎈.

To get away from all the ex prisoners after you balloons🤣🤣🤣
Walk on the beach looking at giant windmills? And fresh smell of fish and chips, with all that noise from the bingo and arcades
Yes lovely and peaceful🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I don't know why there's all this tunnel vision with Toton? Bloody miles away and next door to the sheep dip.

There's plenty o' land down at Colwick just down the road from the WFCG and it's actually in the city.
Just adding another string to the bow.

Agree2 0Disagree

16 May 2024 10:09:06
Plenty of room at Clifton on the 453 trams, buses etc blah blah Mr M has the money and we'll that's that.

16 May 2024 11:02:23
Spot on Bordeaux, you've only got to go under ladybay bridge there's acres of land all the way to the rowing course. And there are going to build a new foot bridge from the race course over to ladybay, don't make sense going to toton.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 May 2024 12:06:01
Much better alternative Bordeaux.
I would much rather us stay where we are and revamp.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 May 2024 14:09:19
Should we stay or should we go?
If we stay, there could be trouble.
If we go it could be double?
Option 1. Council sells land to Maranakis, CG is developed, we stay.
Option 2. New purpose built stadium, training ground and facilities.
Can we have a poll please Ed's?
Stay at City Ground or Elsewhere?

City Ground or Elsewhere poll

15 May 2024 15:02:08
Can’t really vote on the above, as we would need to know what and where we are moving to, and what the city ground development would actually entail,

Agree1 0Disagree

15 May 2024 15:17:37
We will definitely be in toton, mr m can see a blank canvas to make a lot of money there. You only have to look around the area and see that there is little or no facilities for the supporters, he has the room to put in place bar’s cafes anything that will bring in money. He can’t do that where we are now, he’s seen how much money we supporters spend around the ground. Toton gives him the opportunity to take that money for himself. He didn’t put the new fan zone in for love, it was put in to test the water. You don’t become a billionaire without taking a chance.

Agree2 0Disagree

15 May 2024 16:36:48
Geographically Toton is awful. It's virtually in Derbyshire. An absolute nightmare to get to unless you are using the M1.
Anyone travelling from East of Nottingham would be really peed off.

Agree2 0Disagree

15 May 2024 16:46:36
Not sure where exactly they talking about in toton you've got the school n behind that are couple of fields and a rubbish farm but then you have toton sidings a main through route for trains.

Plus toton full of plastic snobs who will oppose it big time on their doorstep.

Is it just me or does anyone else on here get a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach that the most corrupt financial law breaking club are on the cusp of winning their 4th Premier league title! 😡😡

They should be relegated to league 2 for their 115 breaches of financial fair play and as for Guardiola being the best manager in the world with the players at his disposal Megson could make them champions really boils my blood

Come on Arsenal ( never thought I'd say that)

Agree2 0Disagree

15 May 2024 12:41:44
The premier league just keep picking the low hanging fruit, but won’t address the biggest problem in the game, a club blatantly breaking the rules but apparently above the law, clubs should simply refuse to play Man City next season til these 115 charges are heard,

Agree3 0Disagree

15 May 2024 12:50:20
Nothing will happen, MUNMAD, because the only thing that matters in this world is money. Clubs like Man City and Chelsea bring a lot of sponsorship into the Premier League, so relegating them will be counterproductive to the people who run the league. As we know the Premier League is corrupt to the core, but money makes everything better.

Agree6 0Disagree

15 May 2024 23:04:55
Something will happen that's a certainty, it's more what the outcome will be
The premier would not of bought charges against city in the first place if they didn't have a case against city
Because it's historic and a lack of help from city it's taking time, but the charges stand at the end of the day
Let's see what happens, because something will, wether that will suit is another matter.
