Right decision taken.

2.) 05 Apr 2023 15:27:24
Very Good statement from Mr M.

Cooper in for emergency talks with the bosses, oh dear the axe has been sharpened could be ready to fall. Sad sad CIG.

Betting suspended on next PL manager to leave. Likely he’s gone. Not happy about it in the slightest.

2.) 05 Apr 2023 13:24:01
Never mind!

Get in cooper stays!

Rumour going that Hendo could be back by the 11th Feb so will only miss 1 game. Hope so give the defenders a boost knowing he is between the sticks. Navas would be good cover and for his wealth of experience but apparently on big wages which we don't need. Hennessey is OK but needs games so fingers crossed this rumour is true.

Clough is god

1.) 27 Jan 2023 20:38:38
Navas is a far better keeper than Henderson.

2.) 28 Jan 2023 10:59:04
I’d say “was” not “is” cyclist.

3.) 28 Jan 2023 11:26:50
if Cooper doesn't trust Hennessey or Smith then we need another keeper. Not so sure Navas the right choice however.

4.) 28 Jan 2023 15:09:02
OK Perko, you might have seen Navas play more than me in the last two years. But if Navas is still as good as he was, then he is a better keeper. Keepers are often at their best in mid to late thirties, though.

5.) 28 Jan 2023 15:09:51
Whether to sign him is how long-term we want to think. If staying up is the priority then they will sign a top keeper now.

6.) 28 Jan 2023 18:53:24
Well I probably have actually Cyclist, my wife, Dominique is a frog and her Dad is a season ticket holder at PSG. Pipe, smoke it comes to mind. ?.

7.) 28 Jan 2023 21:00:02
SO has he lost his place because someone amazing is now at PSG or is he genuinely just cr4p now?

8.) 29 Jan 2023 09:55:43
Very touchy Cyclist? Are you going through the manopause mate? You can get something for that brother. Take a chill pill.

9.) 29 Jan 2023 11:08:55
What you on about? I was asking because I haven't seen him play. Wondering how you have if he hasn't been playing?

10.) 29 Jan 2023 15:26:50
“someone amazing” is being sarcastic Cyclist! Like i said “touchy touchy”. What you on about?

11.) 29 Jan 2023 15:40:25
I haven’t seen him play, it’s just my opinion and my wifes not even French. ?.

12.) 29 Jan 2023 17:15:59
Asking whether a layer is cr4p now isn't being touchy. Trolling and pretending to get a bite is different to actually getting one. Trolls are only funny if they are good at it.

?.

13.) 29 Jan 2023 17:17:50
He'd better not be cr4p, medical in the next 24 hours according to football insider.

14.) 29 Jan 2023 17:35:24
Perko mate it's so easy to read into a message and come out with the wrong meaning of it
That's the problem with social media and texting, not one person can say they haven't sent something that's been read and interpreted differently and you have to explain the real meaning?

15.) 29 Jan 2023 18:39:37
Fair point 79 and I’ve got no gripe with RedCyclist. I’ve always got on with him in the past and maybe might have misinterpreted what he was saying. We move on Cyclist? ??.

16.) 29 Jan 2023 20:21:25
We always move on, mate. ?.

17.) 29 Jan 2023 21:43:25
Nice one mate. ?.

04 Nov 2022 15:47:40
Reports suggesting Lingard could be off loaded in January. Let's be honest fir whatever reason he was seen as our marquee signing and it hasn't worked out. Would love to have seen him stick 2 fingers up to people who questioned his decision to come to us. Think he just went to the wrong club at the wrong time, new team, new squad in the toughest league in the world was always a long shot. So if reports are true would be better for him to move on as he is not getting any younger.

Clough is god

1.) 04 Nov 2022 21:10:54
Great post cloughie
Just telling it as it is rather than calling lingard a money grabber ect.

2.) 04 Nov 2022 23:07:52
At the end of the day pal they all like the money as there is a vast amount of it in today's game, we'd all be the same. But at the same time most have played football since they were knee high to a grasshopper and its in their blood and its all they know and want to do. After watching Yates interview today for the BBC its all about doing it on the pitch, cross that line and give it everything you got, whether you have a bad game or not there's lots of factors in why that happens. Not saying it's true but Lingard must know he was our marquee signing and it must affect him knowing it hasn't worked out. Yes I've been quick to criticise him along with others only because I love Forest and get frustrated when we play bad or lose and he's the one we look to for some inspiration.

3.) 04 Nov 2022 23:36:14
Again mate a great reply
I can't say I've seen him play well at all, but he and the rest don't deserve being torn apart,
Johnson and Morgan gibbs white have found it difficult so far to adapt to the premier as has Worrall and Williams.
Cooper has had to abandoned his preffered formation and rely on cooks leadership and organisation at the back to try and get us through till Xmas, I'm sure that wasn't the actual plan but needs must.

Patience is needed and while we are bottom we aren't exactly cut adrift
Be interesting if scarpa comes straight into the side and I hope he does, can play a pass can score and deadly at pens and set pieces
Looking forwards to my trip to the city ground tomorrow as usual.

4.) 05 Nov 2022 05:48:48
Good posts lads??. Looking forward to meeting up with my brother today and singing my head off, the ground will be buzzing again and the Arsenal game long forgotten. Come On You Reds.

26 Oct 2022 10:05:08
So according to football insider we are ready to spend between 50 and 100 million in the January transfer window. ? surely to God this is got to be carp, surely to God we wouldn't be that stupid.

Clough is god

1.) 27 Oct 2022 09:39:20
Clough they will spend for sure. They were just practicing in the summer lol. It’s infectious. The sackings a few weeks ago indicate that money has been largely wasted, and it has to be said that despite the result on Saturday and the lifting of team spirit, there ain’t much in that squad that makes you go wow what a player. I wonder if the ground face lift has been scheduled yet.?.

2.) 27 Oct 2022 09:59:53
I know wat your saying pal, but hoping there is at least a team in there somewhere capable of defying the odds. I mean out of 23 players got to be a few good ones, right?

Spending more in January just seems insane to be honest, what about the 3 on loan at Olympiacos are they there for the season?

As for the ground I'll believe when I see it seems to be dragging on a bit.

3.) 27 Oct 2022 14:28:54
We will all know if Forest look likely to breach FFP rules ( if relegated) because Mr Randle will resign to maintain his legal reputation as a top sports barrister. We can regard him as the canary down the mine. If he goes it means the we are all finished.

4.) 27 Oct 2022 14:41:44
He was very happy in the navigation after the game talking and shaking hands even though he had his other half with him, all i'll say is he has good taste. ?.

5.) 02 Nov 2022 17:24:42
Should have spent the first lot of money on quality not quantity.

Well done Forest, well done Chris Wood, tough game, a bit frantic, started strongly played well for half an hour finished well last 20 mins. Deserved 3 points, Yatesy a must now shows that desire when things aren't going your way, Awoniyi continues his hot streak, unlucky not to get 2, need to keep him fit one of our most important players now.

Clough is god

1.) 18 Aug 2023 22:19:58
Yep. so sorry to have to report to many on here. that I went to the game and cheered on my team and thoroughly enjoyed myself!
To top it all had the immense pleasure of meeting Bowie Jolly Carlo and gang. could life be better. ???.

2.) 18 Aug 2023 22:21:08
Quite agree cig
I thought we would have three points after the first two games but a minus goal difference, so the fact we haven't, a bonus for me.

3.) 18 Aug 2023 22:28:38
Well put mate. we chased, and got the winner!
COYRS!

16 Aug 2023 18:56:01
Come on Stevie give it a rest pal. Another tongue in cheek comment and you jump down the throat. My wife who isn't a football fan at all made the comment as I'm sure plenty of other non footballing women will have done, telling their football mad husbands, at least the women can get to finals and win. So chill pal I like mens football, don't like womens football, congratulate them acknowledge good goals but don't want to really watch it. Tried but couldn't get into it. To be honest not a massive fan of men's England team either, used to be but got bored of 20 mins of OK football then 70 mins of dross barring the odd good game. But again acknowledge what Southgate achieved and yes did watch the knockout stages of the tournament. So when you get out of bed in the morning get out the right side ?.

Clough is god

1.) 16 Aug 2023 19:14:25
I can’t get into engalnd anyone either CIg, I’ve come to realise it’s maybe something that captivates the younger fans. I used to be passionate about the country but feel more loyalty and love for the region I was brought up in now. I feel a bit s*** for saying as my grand parents were WW2 veterans and would probably give me a clip for saying it but I feel frustrated by our country much of the time now and perhaps that’s why I don’t really feel much for international football.

Apologies if my post is controversial to some, I’ve no intent to offend anyone.

2.) 16 Aug 2023 19:41:51
Got to be honest, not interested in women's football at all
If you like it fair enough, doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.

3.) 16 Aug 2023 20:11:21
No it's a fair point pal. My nan God rest her soul lived in Hackney during the second World War and her neighbours house was bombed collapsing the shelter my nan was in. Her grandmother or ' Ma ' held up all the bricks so everybody could escape, she was the head of the house. If you wanted to get married or any family issues arose, basically everything went through her first, that's how it was in London then. My point being they too were very patriotic especially after living and breathing the war but times have changed and if you feel this country no longer serves its purpose right, your entitled to say so.

4.) 16 Aug 2023 20:30:31
Love my country just hate the governments that have run it not bothered about international football seems to lost its excitement but glad the women are through to the final I hate thatcher the end ?.

5.) 16 Aug 2023 20:54:50
Nothing wrong with the country, that's why everyone wants and does come to live here
Problem is, it's an island that can't cope with this mad influx of people
Not about colour or religion, just a fact we can't cope
Love my life here.

6.) 16 Aug 2023 21:21:15
Cig I’ll, give what a rest disagreeing with you? I’ll give it a rest when you say something I agree with, if I don’t agree with you I’ll give my opinion, thought that’s what the site was all about pal? BOWIE yes see you Friday mate, looking forward to it, ?.

7.) 17 Aug 2023 10:55:31
I don't watch womens footy. When I have watched it I was bored so don't bother.

8.) 17 Aug 2023 10:55:58
I don't watch Sunday league footy either for the same reason.

9.) 17 Aug 2023 12:52:20
Just drove to the Queens, roads full of holes, walking along the A&E corridors seeing sick people lying there, And I think to myself what a wonderful world oh yea?
CARLO.

10.) 17 Aug 2023 15:25:26
NHS wasn’t designed to serve the needs of 85 million people with an average age of lifespan increasing as it has in the last 40 yrs. The nhs are the the victims of the success of Public health England and medical science. Consequently the nhs can’t cope. No country could do any better with the provision of free health care for all in my opinion. Had the architects of it had a crystal ball they would have realised the ambition was too idealogical to work long term. I’ve no idea what the answer is mate but it’s a going to be a massive issue for any government.

11.) 17 Aug 2023 16:19:09
Other countries do better, so it is possible. We just spend less of our money on healthcare.

In 2017, among the G7 countries the USA spent 17.1% of GDP on healthcare, France 11.3%, Germany 11.2%, Japan 10.9%, and Canada 10.7%. During the same time period, the UK spent 9.6%.

12.) 17 Aug 2023 17:43:16
More people have medical insurance in those countries - maybe not all.

In the USA for instance you can treat yourself for many ailments that you have to see a doctor for here, it all clogs up the system and wastes Millions for no reason.

13.) 17 Aug 2023 18:45:09
13 years ago no waiting list hardly, you could see a GP the same week, something seems to have gone wrong these past 13 years, it wouldn’t be huge cuts, demoralised staff ; beds removed, buildings deteriorating, European staff leaving, no these were just coincidence, s.
Millions wasted on inferior c.v. equipment, care homes run into the ground, patients having to remain in hospital when recovered, no this was just bad luck.

Congrats to the lionesses, first WCF and a couple of really good goals. As my wife puts the men to shame ? ? ?.

Clough is god

1.) 16 Aug 2023 16:04:09
There are only a few actual pro women's leagues around the World and the only real threats within the tournament are USA, Germany, Spain and France. Maybe Netherlands and Sweden too, but there's a clear gap between the best and the rest. It's hardly a depthy competition. Pretty sure if the our men's team existed in such shallow talent pool they'd have a greater chance of being succesful too.

My point being, it's never helpful to compare the men and women's game, just accept them for what they are. And well done, ladies.

2.) 16 Aug 2023 17:51:18
Cig no it don’t put the men to shame, bored with hearing this crap, it’s almost a different sport to men’s football,

3.) 16 Aug 2023 17:56:33
Couldn't agree more wonky as per great post son. And well done the lionesses.

4.) 16 Aug 2023 18:10:37
I don't think anyone is comparing men's v women's football, but the teams you mentioned, don't the men's team also have to play. I just think it's a great event for every Young female, it's a great achievement, they are in the final and could win!. And unlike the men's team they are not playing in Qatar, because they can't there female!.

5.) 16 Aug 2023 18:57:51
And well said Barren ? ? ? ?.

6.) 16 Aug 2023 20:43:19
Congratulations to the England ladies World Cup Final something the men can't manage I am a football fan and support my country my club Nottingham Forest men And ladies and will be watching the Final.

12 Aug 2023 15:16:14
With out being too critical we played like mid table non league In the fa cup for 75 minutes. A few times we battled back the balll we dallied on it for too long and gave it away. We looked weak at times and the same as last season just watched Arsenal play it around no tackles, nada. Was this Groundhog day, deja vu seem to play the same against Newcastle, first game last season. The difference this time Cooper made positive subs, albeit a bit late, and it worked good for 15 minutes. The rest was utter tosh though, Arsenal clearly streets ahead of us. Better ball chasing and ball retention needed for spells in games against better teams because if that had been City they would have been ruthless and scored 5.

Clough is god

1.) 12 Aug 2023 15:23:22
Arsenal are streets ahead of us? No way, you don't say.

Arsenal are streets ahead of near enough every team, apart from Man City. Their squad is probably worth at least five times what ours is. It would take years to get to that level.

2.) 12 Aug 2023 15:25:36
Not sure what you expected against Arsenal away mate, go toe to toe n lose 8-2 and kill our good again.

Not impressed first half 2nd half much better, great run from Elanga, Taiwo looked lively.

3.) 12 Aug 2023 15:30:25
Not a bad result if I do say so myself onwards and upwards to 3 points against the in laws team ?.

4.) 12 Aug 2023 15:31:10
Red cyclist, totally agree with your sentiments mate, , I sometimes can’t believe what I read on here,

5.) 12 Aug 2023 15:43:35
Im feeling different tonight Cig, no doubt we are in for a long hard season but I don’t think we looked that bad today. I think we will be in relegation trouble all season but we’ll be in touch with safety too.

My only criticism is the team don’t look ready for competitive football, I’m not sure why that is. Injuries and player fitness will blight us all season again. I feel we should however, look at the positives from today.

6.) 12 Aug 2023 15:44:46
Oh and finally - I don’t care what anyone says their first goal was lucky and we should have had a penalty.

7.) 12 Aug 2023 16:12:32
Alright guys calm down, just an observation lol. As I said the difference between last season was positive subs which could have nicked us a point. RC mate tongue in cheek of course they are streets ahead and could pass any team off the park. My gripe was not retaining the ball hence in giving the ball away leading to their goals. Don't give it away, no goals. We did look organised and defended well. It was just a case of Arsenal being the much superior and us being the relatively new team always going to lose. But it's 1 game, it won't define us, Elanga looks useful and Awoniyi continuing his scoring streak. But I do expect us to struggle against the top teams away from home until and if we can still be a prem team for the next few seasons. Stevie F opinions mate, say it as you see it ?.

8.) 12 Aug 2023 16:25:22
Cig, we’ll struggle mate, hence why I think escaping from the Emirates with our goal difference and confidence intact is a decent outcome.

9.) 12 Aug 2023 16:25:38
I agree about ball retention, Cloughie. Mangala is inconsistent and Yates would look so much better with a more classy DM in the side. Loads of good sides have an industrious midfielder like Yate/ Mangala, but not sure about both.

Hopefully the hierarchy and Cooper agree with us and do everything they can to sign the kind of midfielder we need.

10.) 12 Aug 2023 16:53:58
Any thoughts on who’d fit the bill for us?

11.) 12 Aug 2023 18:37:18
Is Roy Keane available?

Honestly don't know who is available that we can afford. Nobody knows ho much money we have.

12.) 12 Aug 2023 18:43:19
Yes mate, I’ve no clue either hence why I asked if you had.

13.) 12 Aug 2023 23:34:01
Great input Red Cyclist and 2 stars, keeping it realistic. I see progress from last season already and that enthuses me. I expect mid table security, with a bit of luck with injuries. ?.

12 Aug 2023 13:56:20
Ca we have a new rule this season, Arsenal have to swap all their players for ours. Or swap Saka for all of ours please, aya thank you.

Clough is god

1.) 12 Aug 2023 14:09:20
While we still in the transfer period sell aururier dreadful one thing we are good at is passing the ball into space where their are no players!

2.) 12 Aug 2023 15:36:58
Seriously? Talk about knee-jerk reactions. Sell a player after one below-par game?

Calm down a bit.

3.) 12 Aug 2023 15:52:09
Have to agree with you Bondster, he looks sluggish and off the pace, holds onto the ball too long and gets it took off him and a couple of times in the game he had good chances to cross the ball in from decent positions but again took too long and got closed down. He’s lost that bit of pace and he’s not quick enough anymore to play in that position. Okay for cover but not to start. Aina is a right footer and would be a better fit at right wing back than Aurier. It’s not knee jerk either Cyclist, i was watching the game against Rennes when we got done 5-0, the camera was high in the stands and i could see our right back being done every time for pace, “Who’s that? ” I thought “he’s sh*t! ”. It wasn’t til there was a close up when i saw it was Aurier. Didn’t recognise him from a distance cus he’d dyed his hair blonde. So yes Bondster you are about right.

4.) 12 Aug 2023 16:10:13
He looks a bit unfit perko. We need a left back mate, absolutely no doubt.

5.) 12 Aug 2023 16:33:45
Don't forget, Aurier missed the first two pre-season friendlies as he was recovering from an injury.

6.) 12 Aug 2023 16:49:15
Red cyclist johnno was out of position today, he’s not strong enough to play lone striker, when Awonyi is fully fit, and he himself is up to speed he’ll be ok,

7.) 12 Aug 2023 19:16:24
I would prob use Johnson as a sub against these massive teams away. It worked the end of last season, so why not now?

Plus 30 million, that could get us that elusive anchor man in midfield. If they are going to sell him do it soon, everybody and their team needs settling down now the nitty gritty of the league has started. Hate it when the window opens, love it when it closes. Can definitely see Johnson moving to London and playing for Chelsea possibility of challenging for honours. Could be his last CG appearance tomorrow.
