Simple fact is the so called Portuguese experiment wasn't a complete failure, everyone expected too much too soon from players who are slight and obviously not used to the championship, they should have been brought in gradually and not thrown to the lions, all three have played for better teams than us in benfica and Monaco and now Dias is going to play champions/ Europa league football, I am guessing we have missed out there just wasn't brought on well at FOREST and utilised properly.

Apart from a, 15 spell in the first half when we should have scored again, we were awful.

I didn't expect anything else though and that's the sad thing.
When Yates ( who was awful) was taken off, he gave the captain's armband to Williams ( who was just as bad). When Williams was taken off, he didn't have a clue who to give the armband. There wasn't a decent candidate out there. No one stood up for the cause in the second half and when Sangare came on, we literally gave up.
Then the camera focuses on our esteemed coach and he has as much life in him as a Cardboard cut out. Talk about self inflicted punishment.

One or two of you might know that I'm a big fan of non league football.
It was National non league day yesterday so I travelled to Humberside to watch my local non league team in the North East Counties League.
Half price to get in (£3). Burger and a pint and it was all less than a tenner.
Great game of football in a nice well run stadium. Locals friendly too so all in a great afternoon out.
Then I watched the England match. Much better quality obviously but bloomin boring or what.
It's supposed to be entertaining and I know which of the two I enjoyed most.

I agree with others on here who have lambasted the Sanghare transfer and especially the amount paid.
Someone at the club saw his performances in Holland where he was a big fish in a small pond and we got well and truly suckered.
Even when we buy a player for a much smaller amount, there has to be a thorough look into the players temperament and personally. This bloke seems to lack in both departments.
Reminds me of a story ( not sure how true it is) One Mr Clough called Robbie Savage about the possibility of joining us.
Savage answered the phone with a shout of " Wazza ". OBE immediately put the phone down having judged Savages character instantly.

I get what you're saying East Coast. I only go to home games but it's a long journey and full day and costs much more than just a ticket price.
