Lars Veldwijk is a Red. picture of him on the official website. Great work by Fawaz and Psycho (sorry Stuart!) to get Fryatt and this lad in so quickly. For anybody that hasn't done so, check out the You Tube video that Paul Taylor at the NEP put in one of his articles earlier this week. for a big lad his close control and all round ability in and around the penalty box looks amazing.

Just heard from a normally quite reliable source that Darlow is signing for Liverpool. he says he thinks he will be loaned back to us for the season though
1.) Darlow is a good keeper, but if he wants out and Liverpool are offering the right money then we should not stand in his way, if we get him back for a season then it's good business, with Dr vries and etimov as back up itgives forest a season to find a decent replacement

3.) Liverpool need an experienced keeper for the Champions League.
Get real with the fees. TV money has doubled so we are talking £10m+ for England next keeper

With our defensive crisis not looking like it will be solved anytime soon, what are people's thoughts about Psycho recalling Louis Laing from Notts? I know he's got a slight knock and may be a doubt for Notts this weekend, but my boss who's a Notts season ticket holder hasn't stopped raving about him since they've had him. Saw him pre-season and he looked good to me. Not sure if the terms of the loan deal would allow us to do this or not but if so I day get him back. Thoughts?

Does anybody know what on earth is going on with the proposed transfers of Darlow & Lascelles? All hell broke loose on Monday but other than Pearcey going public followed by the statement from Fawaz there's been nothing from either camp. All very bizarre.

Why does it say it all if we wouldn't budge on some things? That would suggest to me that Petrescu was after something that we felt was unreasonable, in which case it was exactly the right thing to do.
