In the paper sheff we'd want Pato on loan, if he goes we may as well sell him as to me that smells of hia ain't in SP plans

brizzlered

1.) 30 Jan 2015 13:46:21
Can you blame him hope where ever he go"s he will smash it show sp and his staff what they had he ain't no bench warmer yet another sign that they have no clue good luck to the young lad.

2.) 30 Jan 2015 15:33:43
He does not have the work rate or physical presence to be anything other than a bit part player at any club. Not taken his chances when given by SP.

3.) 30 Jan 2015 17:07:07
BBC reported We have refused Wed permission to have him

4.) 01 Feb 2015 13:06:09
Pato need to get in the gymn and build up his body. He looked like a schoolboy playing men when he came on Yesterday and made no impact. Too lightweight. As for playing the youngster at left back, I said to my mate after 5 minutes that if we lose it will be the left side of defence - where there was obviously a problem - that will cost us the game. What happened? If I could see that then why was the player (McGlaughlen) still struggling to cope at left back after 84 minutes when we had 2 left backs on the bench? Come on Pscho, sort it out.

Time for a change, I'd like to see glen hoddle as DOF - good knowledge, good contacts, good for building bridges with other clubs Tim sherwood - head coach/ manager - no nonsense and will sort the players out I think these 2 could work well together.

brizzlered

1.) 02 Jan 2017 19:00:24
Are you for real? Tim Sherwood? Gary Rowett or Nigel Pearson need to kick some life and backsides into lazy and far too comfortable underachieving so called professional footballers.

2.) 02 Jan 2017 19:03:14
Yes I'd go with Glenn Hoddle as doc. Not sure about Tim Sherwood though.

3.) 02 Jan 2017 20:35:06
Sherwood is already in technical role at Swindon.

4.) 02 Jan 2017 23:59:44
Love to know why the disagree on this comment 👆😂😂 fact pal.

5.) 03 Jan 2017 13:32:01
Wasn't he in goal in the half time entertainment ? Made a few good saves.

Never wrong A - thanks for your reply
The reason I asked about car share is I re located to Bristol due to work, I ticket fuel etc etc doesn't come cheap not to mention food drink popping into the forest shop etc etc, by car sharing I would do every game and not pick n choose as costs would come down

brizzlered

21 Aug 2016 16:07:13
Any one interested in car sharing, I travel from Bristol?

brizzlered

1.) 21 Aug 2016 22:41:06
I never understand when someone wants to car share, why do people disagree. Wtf is that all about? Brizzlered, if I lived in Bristol, I would have shared. But I live in a nicer city called Nottingham. Some people are just rude.

i've not posted in a while but I really frustrated along with many of you, I'd go for Garcia (if
MON is def out the frame) all this talk of no talks till after the euros is rob bosh IMO as agents will be holding talks for him, if he didn't want it the whole thing wouldn't be a issue as a simple I'm not interested would suffice (simples)
I travel 350mile round trip take time of work on accasions fuel, food season tickets, merchandise etc etc isn't a cheap hobby for me and will follow forest for the rest of my life but at 49 now if the next manager is a billy big talker with little / no experience regardless of nationality I will for one become a arm chair to watching supporter ( the thought makes me cringe ) but I've had enough 3 hr drive home frustrated with the club, style of football, ears ringing from moaning people around me, depression will set in LOL

All I ask is an update from the club a simple yes investment is agreed but is in process, yes we have a man in place but respectively we will not revile, yes names and players are being discussed etc etc normally pre season is taking shape by now but 1game announced on Aug 2nd is sloppy at best

Sorry to go on but finally had to view my thoughts

FTID from my arm chair (if this carries on )

I agree with everything you have just said, but I think Fawaz has just given up with us fans, the abuse he's taken and his own pride and ego will have left him Apathetic to us. I feel he tried his best and was a good supporter but he came into this in a very naive manner, he didn't research, he basically wanted too much to happen too quickly, messed up, tried to fix it with Pearce, that didn't work, so went the opposite way with Freedman. Fans didn't like that either, by this point they had become hostile, the majority of fans wanted us to spend big, then when we got into FFP they blamed Fawaz for doing it. From Fawaz's point of view he had put a great deal of money, effort and time into pleasing the fans, only for them to abuse him. From our point of view Fawaz has no idea what he's doing. As usual I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

2.) 04 Jun 2016 10:51:56
Well said brizzlered, we don't need all the details just that something or nothing is being done, and don't you load of no news is good news merchants come on spouting about its all being sorted because you know even less than the most fans😡.

3.) 04 Jun 2016 11:20:57
You moan at fawaz for tweeting and saying things that give us hope and it all goes to pot and now your moaning because he's not saying anything maybe he has nothing to say or would you like him to make something up either way would you still beleive what he tells you get a grip you moan when he rushes in and you moan when he takes time i'm suprised anyone wants to take over this club with all the moaning and abuse.

4.) 04 Jun 2016 11:39:42
Well said skegsy.

5.) 04 Jun 2016 12:14:22
You miss the point Skegsjay all we want is a bit of news not stupid cryptic clues, i am in the same position as brizzlered long round trip, food etc so a little constructive information would not go amiss 😡.

6.) 04 Jun 2016 12:45:59
I agree in a way and long journeys or short journeys all the fans want to know what's happening but like i said he might not have anything new to tell us so what's the point would you be happy with him just saying things are still going through we already know that i would rather wait and him say everything is done and he can't say that till it happens 5 years of mess ups let's get this right another few weeks won't hurt.

7.) 04 Jun 2016 13:05:21
So after months of moaning, the top moaner of last season moans that another poster is doing too much moaning! Skegsjay, I salute you sir 😆.

8.) 04 Jun 2016 14:59:26
Thanks ibm let's not get started on the dougmiester again ancient history and owner club completely diffrent to that waste of space anyway ibm having a couple of beers for you cheers.

9.) 04 Jun 2016 18:23:18
I think all bizzlered is saying is most owners issue statement through the club or club spokesman (we haven't got one) but announcing in less than 140 characters in Arabic on Twitter is not professional.

23 Nov 2015 20:58:06
If I was Fawaz I would offer m o Neil whatever he wants, for me he would no overpay or allow players to over inflate themselves ( wages ) he would get them playing for the badge like he did under BC

This in my option is a certain to the premier within a suitable time frame

Look how well Ireland perform for him I think they will get further than England in the euros and they don't have anyone ( IMO) who is would class

I think he'd come to us in the right circumstances, Fawaz make this happen if you love the club half as much as you say you do.

brizzlered

1.) 23 Nov 2015 21:26:24
That ship long since sailed, I'd love it too but can't see it ever happening.

2.) 23 Nov 2015 21:37:01
England ain't got anybody who is " world class " either!

3.) 23 Nov 2015 21:56:51
Agreed, the England team is full of over paid over hyped money grabbers who are all about promoting themselves and have little national pride. Strangely enough the Irish team play with more pride and passion even though a lot of them aren't actually Irish.

4.) 24 Nov 2015 04:35:24
Too old, we do not need anymore ex players to manage us. Us and Leeds have tried virtually everyone that was available as an ex player, Frank Clark was the only one successful. We need to move forwards not backwards.

5.) 24 Nov 2015 06:34:47
Anyone would take any job in the right circumstances. Fawaz's problem (or at least one of them) is that he can't deliver them: why would a decent manager with actual ambition to do well saddle himself a job where at least one of his hands was tied behind his back?

6.) 24 Nov 2015 10:23:38
Because a manager has the opourtunity to kick Forest up the arse and become a success where many others have tried and failed.

7.) 24 Nov 2015 12:37:22
Paul lambert went to Blackburn knowing they had and embargo with owners more bonkers than fawaz!

8.) 24 Nov 2015 12:40:45
There is no way in the World Martin would work for this owner.

9.) 24 Nov 2015 14:44:37
Up the Forest. Yes but in the paper the other day the owners of Blackburn are going to put £millions into the club in an effort to but themselves out of FFP, and I think that is one of the reasons they got Lambert! If successful we will be the only club under sanctions!

10.) 24 Nov 2015 18:20:31
johnny,
you just don't understand FFP. The whole point is that the owners do not put money in to subsidise the club.
What do you think it means?

11.) 24 Nov 2015 19:31:00
^ Not my strong suit, but presumably it's possible to put money into a club by buying an equity stake (although that's obviously not possible in circumstances where the person putting in the money already owns 100% of the business) .

12.) 24 Nov 2015 19:49:33
No9 you are correct not your strong suit :-)
You answered your own question, how can you buy a share of something you already own?

13.) 25 Nov 2015 08:04:37
Both blackburn and ourselves have owners that have loaned us the money, this is shown in the accounts in this way. We could do what derby did and Mr Fawsz writes the loan off. Therefore the accounts look better as we don't have the liability of a loan hanging over our heads.

14.) 25 Nov 2015 10:28:21
@positivethinking: To be fair to myself, I don't know the full ins-and-outs of the ownership arrangements at Blackburn.

if we except 8m it will make us look a laughing sock, even if britt is pushing for a move its still very cheap in todays market.
Now is the cance for the new owner/ board etc etc to put a stake in the ground and tell suiters to line up starting a 12m.

I been reading people thoughts on this and I think 4 or 5 mil is to cheap
Yes it's a good return on what we paid and the short time he's been with us BUT when prem clubs pay 8. 9 or even 10 mil plus for untried kids why shouldn't we hold out for more

Bottom line line transfer madness

with respect, saying this yr championhip will be tough is correct, but hasn't it been for the last 5 to 6 seasons, not all teams hit the ground running and are successful in returning straight away just as there's always one emerge from the bunch most don't expect

I say worry about ourselves not others that's the mentality that brings us down IMO

We the fans, players, manager, owners etc etc should be loud and clear and say bring it on, win lose or draw itys time we manned up and make teams play the absolute best to get something off us.

Chanting psycho or not if he us gets to the promised lane I'm sure those fists will be pumping more then when he scored that pen and became an England legend . If he says he feels embarrassed about it via programme media what ever I will stop n respect that but till then I'm going to pretend I'm a teenager again

I agree we are strong there but he would be a fantastic captain and would cert buy into SP style and thinking. Imagine sp on the touch line him on the field cert 1 way to turn boys into men

If Carlsberg owned forest we walk the league
