Apparently petrescu was offered job first but he turned it down cause of contract negotiations they wouldn't budge on some things says it all if true

Why does it say it all if we wouldn't budge on some things? That would suggest to me that Petrescu was after something that we felt was unreasonable, in which case it was exactly the right thing to do.

He wanted the job for longer than the end of the season. Fair enough but I think it's a good opportunity that Dougie took. If Dougie doesn't do well, he can say 'what do you expect, look at the situation I walked in to', if he does do well he can get a new contract at higher wages or maybe a job somewhere else.
