According to Beeb stats we had only 23% possession. is that right? Did we sit back and hit them on the break?

We frustrated them and didn't give them any chance to make passes in and around the box. First Half after we took it to them after a slow first 5 mins and could of gone into half time 3-1 ahead, then second half didn't really let them have a decent chance on goal so all round solid performance, they may have had 70 odd percent posession but 7 shots on target to bournemouths 3 ( that were all in first half) shows you where they had most of posession and what they did with it.

Definitely expect a few faces to be shown the door. Seems to me PM is very much getting the squad together that he wants rather than tweak what's already there. But risky having a new defence to try and gel only days before the season starts?

As a Pearce fan I am sad to see this day but most Reds could see this happening sooner or later.

Its a pity Abdoun and Djebbour didn't work out, not least for the cost involved. I only saw Abdoun in one game proper, just after he joined and I thought he looked really exciting. But you don't know what happens behind the scenes. Shame.
Seems like Lansbury wants to move on to bigger things, if a premier team is giving him the chance right now then that's his decision.
The real worry I have from the statement is that it would appear there is no firm sponsorship offer at all yet, let alone the crazy amounts being bandied about. Makes me think the kitty is getting pretty low if quick sales are being made.
Maybe less optimistic than I was last week but let's see eh?
Born Dec 83 makes him 30-1/2 I think.
