Red were you at the millwall game?,
No didn't think so,he single handedly gave millwall a draw and it could have been even worst,
He's shocking and has been since his debut at Fulham when he he let one through at his near post.
He's been at fault to many times and scares the he'll out of the crowd when a cross comes in.
Easy to beat on the floor as it takes him to long to get down.
Wastes far to much time and has picked up a lot of bookings for it and his distribution is PANTS,
All in all he's garbage.

Good video red but backs up what I say if you notice he pushes the ball straight back into the danger area far too often,you only get so much luck when you do that,first rule is to push the ball away to safety or out or one day we might see him catch the ball

Personally I don't think so,he's had more clubs than Rory mcllroy and ended up bench warming at all of them or even further down the pecking order.

FF, I agree with you, he pushes the ball into the danger area far too often , too slow to get down. Smith is equally as suspect in other ways. De vries, Darlow and camp were all miles better than what we’ve had for several season now. I think we’d have 4 more points on the board now with a good solid and reliable keeper. Smith ain’t the answer though pal.

I'm with FF regards the Millwall game, Pants literally threw away 2 points. The video clips are of a much younger, fresher Pants😊. I think a settled back four and stronger midfield are protecting him better. Do I think he's the best we could have? No. Do I think he's got a concentration problem and a mistake in him? Yes. Will AK get a replacement in Jan? Not unless he's injured. When he's good, he's very good. When he's bad, he's bloody awful. Let's hope he doesn't cost us a shot at promotion. FTID.

There's another video on u tube of his best forest saves,take a look how many times he has to make a double save after palming the ball straight back to the opposition.
Shows his penalty save,but not how he stood on his line still congratulating himself while the ball flew into the net from the resulting corner.

Someone mentioned de vries,he was about the worst keeper for not commanding his area and taking crosses,was always pinned to his line.

Pants won a League Title and a League Cup winners medal with Man City. Never said he was the best but he is a good as we have had in recent seasons and he is a winner which is why AK signed him over others!

AK has improved Darikwa and Fox in our defence and everyone was binning them off. Pants has not conceded in 4 matches ( Leeds doesn't count) so give the guy some credit as the team improves?

With reference to the Millwall game, I was there and the crowd were really getting on Pants back everytime he delayed kicking or throwing it. In the end, he had clearly had enough and rushed his throw out to the left.. Seconds later, the cross came in and it was in the back of our net.

I won't forget that moment, we were quite comfy until that so you could say that we shot ourselves in the foot! With regards Smith, radio said yesterday, he pulled off a couple of good saves but was flapping at balls coming into the box. Each and every keeper makes mistakes. Both Pants and Smith have made some outstanding saves also to gain us points. And how about Smiths save against Ipswich, last game of the season, we could have gone down if it wasn't for his contribution. Let's all get behind our players, we all struggle from time to time, we are not machines. COYR

Not arguing about other goalkeepers,pants in imo is not good enough end of,too many mistakes and hate his time wasting from the minute the game starts.
How you can class him as a premier league winner playing seven games over three seasons is beyond me,league cup I'll give you,fourth choice at Watford in the end when he was bought to be first choice.

I wouldn't fancy playing in a team with you Ff779 as you would be the one getting on everyone's back no matter what the individual performance! Just be grateful we have started to put some results together as a team?

In recent memory you've had it in for Fox, Osborn, Murphy, Darikwa all of whom have turned it round so now you pick on Pants who like everyone else has had the odd bad game!

Nobody is saying he is the best keeper between the sticks but then everyone said that about De Vries when he first got in the team and he turned out ok.

Forest's defence for a change is not the problem.Dawson and Figs look the business at the moment and Robinson and Darikwa are bang on.

Pleased to see Worrall saying he's a red through and through because he and Figs are the future for us at CB imo.

I honestly believe with Yacob and Colback we have the two best dcm players in the league and with the improving team gelling together can see a top 6 finish for sure this season

That's where your wrong red I don't sit there having a go at the players on the pitch,there no point to that some around me you should hear though.
I use this site to have a say and pants is not a good goalkeeper imo and I'm entitled to say so.
Everyone including you has had a go at Darikwa and yes he has turned it round,grabban is a goalscorer out and out and I've never said other,but how many would he score with some help up top?
I'll be at hull Saturday no booing from me,I can't alter karankas team selection or his tactics,but I can have an opinion on it.
You keep going on having a go at the fans,well they do their bit and if it was a bit more entertaing the roof would come off.
You need to get yourself down their more instead of criticism of the fans that go every week

Ff798. You and I are not as a rule on the same thought process regarding the manager and the way the team is set out to play this season but as you say each and everyone to their opinion.
Have to agree with you on Pants though. Thought last season he was just a stop gap until the team was rebuilt during the summer transfer window and was disappointed AK did not go in for a top stopper during that transfer window and yes for those on this site who will say no one would have come to us they would have.
I am not at all confident in Pants abilities as a stopper or his confidence in mastering his box especially at corners. He does not read the game and his distribution is woefully inadequate.
Not like me to slate any player but this boy makes me more nervous as games progress. Not sure if Steele would be able to fill the gap as he has not been really tested with the first choice defence in front of him.

No there isn't 10 million difference more like 20 million, butland is far younger as well as far better.
One of the Burnley keepers on loan in Jan would do the trick, but karanka won't sign a keeper in Jan.

Sutton as Brian stated he would have paid anything for Shilton. A good keeper installs confidence in his defence but cannot see pants at present doing this.

If there was 20mill difference he wouldn’t be In the championship ff.dont forget this lad has had 6 different clubs the same as someone 6 years older.
Stoke have the same amount of clean sheets as us and 4 more goals conceded both keepers would of played a part in those stats.

Butland has had 2 clubs the rest were loans while he was learning his trade and getting over serious injuries.
Full England international and in the squad now,different class to pants,feel sorry for you if you can't see that.
