Can any if you helpful souls update me on Byrams injury. Read lots of rumours but cannot find anything on the official site. Is it long term and if so has he gone back to West Ham
Many thanks to all.

I try to be always the optimist. Maybe some times a little to much. The expectations of what AK is trying to achieve is I belive coming good.
My only concern is the lad between the posts as he does not fill me full of confidence. Strange really as I believed when he came last year that he was solid but the last few games then it would appear he has lost the confidence he previously had. Think if he is still struggling in the new year then it's time for a new face.

1.) 17 Oct 2018 16:08:05
Am in agreement mickn. My optimism leads me to believe that AK will replace any player that does not reach his required standards. I am also optimistic that the owner will give him backing to do so. Optimism is the way forward pal.YOU REDS!

2.) 17 Oct 2018 18:07:59
Ba Humbug.

3.) 17 Oct 2018 23:47:29
May I be the first to wish you all a Merry Christmas.πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

4.) 18 Oct 2018 07:11:10
He really struggles with his nerves.all we can do as fans is get behind him.

5.) 18 Oct 2018 11:02:18
Yes agree Gazza. AK must have seen something in him but once the confidence goes it a hell of a job to pull it back round but hope he can a couple of good games may do it.

6.) 19 Oct 2018 07:27:14
Tom heaton unhappy at burnley, he’d be useful on loan from January.

7.) 19 Oct 2018 16:55:51
I agree oakham . Do you think we need to move someone out though?

06 Oct 2018 20:48:48
For all the Grabban moaners who was bleating on he could not score. Only five goals in the last six games. How dreadful.
There there how sad still must be another player you can knock back each week

No one's saying he can't score, it's he can't hold the ball up as the lone ranger, that's why Murphy played today and helped defend set pieces, which is something else he can't do.
That's not his fault,he's a goalscorer, but struggles on his own especially at home.

2.) 06 Oct 2018 21:29:26
79 don't bother answering to the children 😁

3.) 06 Oct 2018 21:35:41
Weather the forms anders or the happy clappers are right or wrong today we beat a very good team so let's enjoy as we're all forest fans maybe not krankie fans as for me I hope he proves me wrong every week that means were winning happy days you redddssss

4.) 06 Oct 2018 21:43:31
I'll drink to that skeggs after a Stella performanceπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ»πŸ»πŸ»

5.) 06 Oct 2018 23:07:05
Temper, temper Skegs

6.) 07 Oct 2018 00:16:26
Murphy looked decent today, definitely the better bet with his back to goal.

Grabbans a poacher.

7.) 07 Oct 2018 12:00:14
Well for me a Β£6m impact sub comes on for 20 mins and puts his chance away to seal the game.

The Β£15m impact sub comes on for 35 mins and fluffs his lines again.

Neither are that good with their backs to goal but I know who I'd have in my team every week and it ain't "The Ass" its "The Goat" and I'd spend the change on another target man!

Great display last night. All the players appeared to be on the same wavelength understanding what was required of them and also put a full shift in.
I am hopeful that this trend can continue and we now start a winning run at least at home
I can see (but do not agree) on some of the recent comments on this site regarding formation being wrong, chopping and changing players and ineffective management.
I do not agree in anyway that we have brought in two many players. My believe is that the manager has top loaded due to the age of some of the players. He sees the experience in them but believe he undestands that they ain't going to be fit enough to play every game hence why he has gone this way so expect changes as this will work when other teams start to struggle with injuries etc. I may be talking rubbish here but time will tell.
Tell me it's rubbish but today is a good day as thought the cancer was back but in my prostate this time but have just been told the high PSA us due to the prostate being over large so good to go.

All the best mickn. My mate is suffering with prostrate cancer. Anyway great resukt lastnight. So pleased that Grabban and Carvalaho ar off the mark. Sounded a good game too. I was ln my bivvy fishing in north yorkshire watching the score update on the forest site. As for squad sizes we have 3 strikers injured already or is it 2 and one midfielder? That won't help but hopefully lastnight will get us on a run. The most important thing was the cohesion and effort and plenty to cheer. See you all at BlackburnπŸ˜ƒ

Not sure if AK will ever change format but if he does decide to chuck in two strikers my first choice would be Soudani.
Chuck the lad in at the deep end and give him a start with any permantation of the other two we have.
Read lots about him not being an out and out striker but his stats show he has scored plenty at his former clubs. Might have a Sallah there. Cannot do any worse.

mickn

1.) 02 Sep 2018 22:55:01
I'd like to see Soudani start a few games with Grabban. I think they had the last half an hour in both the Reading and Wigan games that's it.

2.) 02 Sep 2018 23:32:18
3/5/2 looks the way forward for this team and i'd go with
steele
cash or janko wing back
hefele
dawson
figs
Robinson left wing back
bridcutt or geuddy
colback or yates
in front of them 2 dias/Carvalho/lolley
an 2 up top
murphy/soudani/grabban/goncalves/gomis?

3.) 03 Sep 2018 01:26:04
That's 12 isn't it, unless my maths is letting me down again !!

4.) 03 Sep 2018 05:06:15
Maybe nobody will notice

5.) 03 Sep 2018 23:13:34
no its 11 as its 1 from dias/Carvalho/lolley and 2 strikers

On a wet October day in 1958 my brother who was fourteen years my senior took me to my first Forest game. I was twelve at the time and the game was against Blackpool if my old memory rings true. My brother told me that this would be my team for life and of course he was correct. One thing though that he told me and that has surfaced in my thoughts this week was his advise regarding Forest fans being fickle and very impatient.
My humble opinion is that we now have a club that has a solid structure in place after years of being fractured and in dissaray.
The owner is obviously backing the manager in his efforts so why are we so quick to question a manager's tactics after four league games who has in the past shown his understanding of the game through his past success.
I do not believe we have ever had such a transfer window as we have this season and yes it is true money does not always buy success but I would sooner the club have the players that has been brought in this season than not. I read ridiculous comments about Grabban and yes we are all entitled to our opinions but four games in yet again impatience of our supporters come to mind.
To me this is the most exciting times for our club in many a year so let's get behind all the staff and players. We have the manager the players have the talent and with patience it will all come good

mickn

1.) 20 Aug 2018 18:52:59
Well said that man!!!

2.) 20 Aug 2018 19:30:26
I agree. Its a marathon not a sprint.Perhaps we'll not end up where we'd all hope we will but the difference for me this season when I go to watch the reds is I think we could win rather than fear we'll lose.

3.) 20 Aug 2018 22:16:25
AK needs to keep the fans on board, the team will need all of us this season. Opposition is already working out how to play us, so AK should try to be flexible in the way we play. I hear him talk about playing our game and results will come. This frustrates me. No team has the divine right to win a game. You have to earn that right, win your battles, make 50/50's 60/40 in your favour. In short you have to want to win more than the opposition, whether Direby or Wigan.

Don't disrespect the opposition or underestimate any team and definitely don't walk on the pitch not ready to fight from second one. This league will be hard enough without giving cheap, early goals away. Cut it out reds, embarrassing basics from professional footballers, unacceptable. Show us the fight every game, from 1st minute to last and those fans will roar you up the league. COYR.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

4.) 20 Aug 2018 22:36:23
I will put one thing in and that's why with 13 new players are we having the same problems I think that's a lot of people's issue the only constant is ak's tactics. Not being negative but how can this be.

5.) 20 Aug 2018 22:39:22
On a second note it's the same tactics that he used and failed with last season so it's not just 4 games of using them except now it's his tactics with his players same end result i'm getting very concerned I must admit.

6.) 20 Aug 2018 23:17:55
AK has been given the money with the instructions to get the club promoted. I am not impstient nor desire the prem. Just happy to see a the club above water and have good direction.

You have to question some of the decisions as on the field not a lot has changed. A lot of new players are like for like with what we already have. Not enough have been moved on and we still lack composure in the last third. I know its only 5 mstches in but the same frailties exist. Defensively AK has invested well but as yet has not started with the right or left back experience. Heffel will be a great centre half.

The key position is thst which Tomlin filled as he was real class and what i would call the link. Its hus type we need right now as the portuguese lads lack real composure in and around the box and they seem to fade. I still can't get my head around the 13mil for carvslaho. He will come good of thst i am sure but just how good and how effective?

Blimey Red cheesy chips that's posh. Takes me back to my first match my bro stuck a cup of boveril into my hand saying get that down you it will do you good. Blimey the amount of salt he had put in it would have given a food hygienest a heart attack. 😁

Nice post Nfcc. Have to agree it's good to have a start to a season that at present is looking positive on all fronts. Think the managers plan is starting to come together. Don't see any reason why it should not continue.

51. Hope your illness is now behind you and I wish you good health for the future.
I have been saying this about Forest supporters for years they are finkle and impatient.
Crap manager year after year. Not buying enough players then buying to many. All of them knowing better formations than the manager
The list is endless.
