What a pile of cack- a new "striker" that's bags 1 in the last 28 games, our club scrambling around the bargain bins like an apologetic tramp looking at everyone's castoffs, previous signings of injury prone players that guess what are injured, late payments for players, hoofball and more besides. I don't know what's worse, a manager who has won ONE of his last 13 competitive games or an owner who allows such mediocrity. FFS the club deserves better- a real manager of the likes of Pearson and someone to advise Fawaz.
Someone needs to get a grip of things pronto, or league 1 here we come

Look on the bright side in league
1 tickets would be cheaper.

Anyone would think we are in January and bottom of the table after having spent £30 million.

If i remember right Clough once said a manager needs 18 months to show what he can do?

Good to see so many of you giving the guy a real chance. He may be trying to get a real team spirit and passing football going and all you feel fit to do is moan.

i think the above posts are from non supporters or people with their heads in the sand. Antonio was always going to go once a Premiership club put in a bid. He would be a fool to not to want to play in the premiership, we made money on him. As to replacements we cannot pay transfer fees so our options are very limited. We have a reasonable squad so let's get behind the club and support them instead of constantly knocking then. Be realistic we are in FFP and as such our hands are tied.
Get realistic and support the team.

You're right Jacko also can we remember the statement " we're going to sign a player who if anyone else finds out he's available they'll snap him up" another load of crap. We so need a CEO to ensure the club is run properly. I know everybody says that but it's true and I would see if Frank Clark is available. I'm not going to slag off Fawaz because he has saved us and I genuinely think his intentions are good he just needs to learn to delegate !!!

So much for your stats.

Chris O'Grady is currently our joint top scoring forward on the staff!

He has been signed to hold the ball up and bring other players into the game which we cannot do with our current crop of fit strikers.

If he gets 8-10 goals then job done because he will create opportunities for others.

I'm backing him to become a cult hero with his commitment and abrasive style which is just what is missing since Deli and Hendo!

This is just an utterly unbelievable post by Jacko, and epitomises the issue the club has with it's own fans! Firstly, we are shopping in the bargain basement bins due to FFP. Our only option is free transfers and loans. We also have a cap of 10K on wages. Now those two things alone leave us with a limited market to deal in and funny enough, your star players don't mix it up in those circles! So we are left looking at those players who actually want to come to the club given those conditions. Yes, O'Grady is not the stellar signing we would have all liked, but that's where we are right now. We have a wealthy owner who has backed all of his managers financially, and we spent big last season and got quality in, but Fawaz can't do that this time. It's all very well saying get rid of DF, but trust me when I say there isn't a line of world class managers waiting in the wings. From the outside, you have an owner desperate to get the club to the premier league and is demanding. You have players that seem to sulk, and perform when they want to. You have some fans that can't tolerate anything other than a win each week. I'd say it's a rather unattractive job to want to take in football. The realism is the talk from the club of a top 6 is unrealistic this season, and it has fuelled some fans expectations. You call for Pearson to come in, but he spent millions building that team, and it took him 3 odd years to do it. I'm sure after a few losses you'd be calling for him to be sacked as well!

Blimey Dele Adebola and Darius Henderson. Let's hope he's a wee bit better than those two. Come back Jason Lee all is forgiven!

He's been brought in to support Tyler Walker. Tyler shows some good touches and promise but is a bit lightweight and having o Grady up there to do the dirty work might complement Tyler's style. Target man o Grady plus the more technically gifted Walker. just might work till Assombalonga returns. Sad to see Antonio go but Good luck to him in the prem, look forward to seeing what he can do and one man does not make a team - the team will adapt. COYR.

Murdoch. Would you be happy then with League 1 football? I pay to watch this week in week out- home and away. Baffling team tactics, one up front, hoofball and only a chance of scoring a goal when we are chasing a losing situation.
Let's not pussyfoot around- WHO IS TO BLAME?
is it the owners fault that bills are late paid?
Is it the owners fault that no management structure is in place to cope with running the club professionally?
Is it the owners fault that we have become a laughing stock in British football?
Is it the managers fault we play hoofball?
Is it the managers fault that our football is boring?
Is it the managers fault that either fullback position is a real problem?
Or perhaps is it us, the paying fans, that are at fault?
Are we at fault for wanting a better future for our club? Is it our prerogative to demand better, or bury our heads in the sand like you, Murdoch, imply - the football over the last 10 competitive games has at times been some of the worst I have seen in my FORTY years of watching The Reds.
