According to the guardian 5 ceo's have been interviewed and one selected. SP going to reduce squad to around 24 from 34 and focus on quality with a big clear out in the summer. Big kick off meeting apparently on Tuesday were SP addresses all at NFFC.

Yep, CEO and associated management massively important. A big squad over haul planned then. Hopefully business is done very early then so everyone can bed in and hit the ground running. Don't think massive surgery is needed player wise. 5 signings max.
Having watched Derbyshire over past games definitely think a one year contract should be offered. A controversial comment maybe but IMO he is the Best centre forward at the club at the moment

He seems to be ok when he doesn't have to have a 2nd touch. if he has to control a ball and have a 2nd touch its game over. his first touch is shocking.

Keeno Derbyshire has always worked hard when used and he kept our play off dream alive for the last month so I do agree with your comment would defo give him a year contract done more hard work than most of the forwards apart from mackie put together

Sp definitely at club tuesday, know someone in ticket office, imo Derbyshire deserves another years contract, has been consistent when given opportunity, probably would have hit 15 with a run in squad under davies, but never had the chance. I think 2 good strikers. n we will be sorted

Give Derbyshire a decent crack at a run in the team. With plans to replace him if required in January, I can't see Burnley keeping both of there 2 strikers in the premier league, they'll be urged to get a big name to plan for survival. Maybe one of them. Buy one top striker. Ideally Ross Mccormak. Clearout all playboys squad players that haven't done the business when required, replace them all with young hard working players wanting to win.
Give psycho the support from stands and management.

Be careful what you wish for, as Derbyshire is playing for a new contract. Have supporters forgot how bad he was when he arrived. He should have fought harder to be considered by BD. He may have scored yesterday, but he didn't do much else. A lot of fans called for Radi to be offered a new contract, gets a 4 year and look at him now. Looking forward to next season now. Hopefully we can keep our best players, get the injured back, get rid of the deadwood and start bringing through the youngsters. it could be a good one! We may have had a big squad, but as SSN pointed out, we had a total of 16 first choice players out yesterday. The good thing that has come out of this season, is it has shown that we do have good crop of youngsters waiting to be given the chance. One thing BD would not do. If he had we would have had more of these youngsters progressing through to the first team earlier and maybe players like Bamford would be playing for Forest.

Derbyshire was signed by MacClaren and started up front with Miller and both looked a threat before both getting injured.
Davies only ever played with one up front unless chasing a game and Derbyshire shines when he has a partner so has never been given a chance.
Brazil changed the system and he has scored. We will regret letting him go but need 2 more strikers to support him and Cox.

Derbyshire is not good enough, or Cox we need a big clear out, Fawaz will not keep bank rolling us, Pearce will bring young players through the ranks, and get lower leauge players in, it's all start again! Another 5 year plan to add to the other 15 years!
