Not sure how you get your info, but we must be very close to him offering his resignation.

2.) 10 Jan 2015
We're have you read this because iv been on the birdy site and my forest app and there's nothing on there

3.) 10 Jan 2015
The same person who chirped about Todd Kane signing before anyone else. think it was two days before he signed.

4.) 10 Jan 2015
I hope he hasn't been sacked, he's more likely to offer his resignation or it will come out as a mutual agreement. If he goes he will still walk away as a legend in my eyes. tough decisions for fawaz.

5.) 10 Jan 2015
Sp not sacked yet, but will be, either tonight or tomorrow

6.) 10 Jan 2015
Shouldn't of put sacked should of said he has parted company with the club and is no longer our manager.

7.) 10 Jan 2015
Is Sherwood the replacement? All kinds of headlines with that name. Come on, let's cheer ourselves up. I will start. 'Sherwood's Forest evergreen as Rams are humbled at the Ipro'

8.) 10 Jan 2015
SP will not be sacked he will resign if he thinks he can take us no further

9.) 10 Jan 2015
I hope that this isn't true!
At times like this the club, team & fans need to rally together to fight through this horrible mess.
What would this actually resolve? Absolutely nothing, it's the players not performing. And can guarantee that Pearce is working tireless to get everything right.
A good defender will defend, a quality striker will always try to score, etc etc regardless of what's been discussed in team briefs and game plans or training methods. Plane and simple they are paid to do there Job!
Last year the players just weren't good enough to win. This year the players are good enough and have no excuse.
Man Utd had the same issue last year.
Pearce is not likely to walk away this close to a game with Derby!
Fawaz will need balls of steel to pull the trigger, especially after the stadium showing there unity to the one man that can get us back to the holy ground!

10.) 10 Jan 2015
Well said trickie. Fawaz if you read this site don't flinch stick to the plan and it will come good.

11.) 11 Jan 2015
Yes but Trickie, surely its up to the manager as well? You can't just blame the players? I know they are under performing however Pearce has got to have some responsibility? Its like a factory, if the workers aren't making the right stuff then responsibility falls on both manager and workers

I've been a fan for 35 years and never felt the need to post on a forum such as this until now. SP is a Forest legend abd a fantastic guy but he just isn't cut out for management. I am all for giving a manager time and have been a supporter of stability but SP has to go. The team is leaderless, passionless and our lack of identity with regard to a playing style is shocking. There are no signs of recovery or it getting better with time it just seems to get worse. As one respected journo has written, SP is the ultimate 'new broom' manager, fantastic for the first ten games but then deteriorates over time.
I hope SP does the right thing and steps down as Fawaz is in a lose lose position. If he holds firm things are iikely to get any better. Yet if he sacks SP that % of supporters (not as many as people are implying) blindly loyal to SP will cause a fuss and make noises in the owners direction.
I hope a change is made for the sake of everyone and wish SP well if it does happen.

Maybe pearce needs a new number 2. Physcho definitely has the passion and drive to succeed, though his tactical decisions and playing style leave a lot to be desired. Replace ol wiggers and get someone in the peter taylor mould and see what happens. Fans love Pearce, players get on with him too. Maybe somebody who can take the man's will to succeed and intelligently implement it into play. let's face it, not every player plays like Pearce himself, all have their own styles and motivational differences. Maybe our problem is our manager has stressed too hard on our team playing like the old war vet himself, hence losing that creative, intelligent and never say die attitude balance that's so important to win. So yes i think pearce stick to managing the other side of affairs and get a good intelligent classy coach in to re-ignite a push for promotion again. coyr
