No hope of landing Adam Bogdan. Wage demand too high. No interest in Andy Lonergan. However Freedman is keen on Chesterfield number 1 Tommy Lee. Though injured, he will be fit again for the beginning of next season. Freedman also believes he is capable of making the step up.

He signed a new contract till the summer of 2016. We are under an embargo!!!! Are you suggesting the embargo will be lifted or a loan deal or them to just release their number one so we can sign him? The most likely goalkeeper that will actually be realistic is Richard O'Donnell who looks like he will reject a new contract.

I know a bit about Chesterfield through my work and I know that Tommy Lee is highly rated there. He was their player of the season two years on the trot and I think we could do a lot worse. Bogdan would be good, but not sure about Lonergan.

I live in chesterfield,so get to hear a lot about there players,they do rate tommy lee highly,but a few spirete mates doubt he is good enough for a higher level,a good shot stopper but not great on crosses as he is small for a keeper and doesn't command his box,however they have a very good midfielder in sam morsy,pity we can't pay cash for players.

Chris eagles is a good player and has very good ability but I would say the rumour is rubbish due to df leaving him out of the Bolton team when he was manager and eagles was there best player.

As far as Dougie leaving him out makes sense, but if he is as good as you say why have average teams like Bolton, Blackpool, and Charlton all got rid of him?

As good as I say he is?i said he's a good player with ability not a world beater.he only signed a deal with charlton till the end of the season and they havnt renewed.to be honest I didn't even know he went to pool.but when he signed for charlton he said it didn't matter what they offered him he just wanted to sign so he will be cheap.lol.if he's cheap enough he will be a good player to bring on late in a game to try and get you a goal or set something up.

I was not suggesting you thought he was a world beater, when someone states a player is good, and with ability that suggests a average team would keep hold of him, especially if he is cheap.

Forest have let plenty of good players leave for nothing over the years.they might of tried to keep him but he might not like it down there.plenty of reasons why he might not of signed perm for them including not being good enough.

If he could find the form he had at burnley could be a good signing but seems to have been lost the last couple of seasons. To be released from Blackpool is worrying to me tho as he's the type of player they needed and it didn't work out for what ever reason.
