Rutland hit the nail on the head in his post yesterday - in most cases we have not signed the right quality players for this league. Mr M has obviously come to the same conclusion with is sacking of the recruitment team. There are some signings that I am sure will come good. MGW, for example, is a young player who is with the perfect coach to bring out the best in him. Nico Williams has a lot of developing to do that will take time, but could eventually be another good buy. O'Brian and Tofollo both have the work ethic to make progress at this level. To my mind, the jury is still out on the rest. But we are where we are. The question is whether SC can pull a side together to keep us up. Villa was a start.

Williams MGW, Obrein and toffolo cost a grand total of 55 million though and we weren't in a position to spend 20 on a rookie right back with potential to be honest.
Then you've got the add ons for MGW.

If we do go down the Deadwood stage isn't as bad as previous scatter gun spending seasons.
Loans. Henderson. Lodi. Bade.
End of contract. Lingard. Smith. Colback. Arter. Taylor. Dragar. Cafu.
That's ten straight of the books then we have all the not good enoughs to sell
Mighton. Laryea . Ojeda and a few of the U23s who are struggling to make the step up.
Should leave us with a tight championship unit and we can get 5 loans in again if needed and slowly shift the players who have clearly shown they are not prem quality. ?.

Nobody from the 23 or fringe players will get the chance to step up with all the dross in front of them ,I imagine they feel very down knowing their chance will probably never come at Forest .

Red Balloons. 9 games, clearly not PL quality? Most of them with negligible minutes. Do you not remember Henri at Arsenal? Patience sir, please. If we're giving Cooper time, do the players not deserve the same?

I wouldn’t say if we go down, don’t you mean when we go down in 7 months time, that’s a certainty.
Wasn’t worth waiting 23 years for was it………I don’t think so.
