An observation from the Spurs v Coventry game, on the second Spurs goal. It didn't look much of a foul or elbow, but if it had been a Forest player, I am convinced the goal would have been ruled out!
I'm still not convinced about VAR, it is still down to another individuals opinion!

It's an interesting point Keeff. Looking at the highlights I think 2 of Manchester City's goals against Ipswich were the result of blatant fouls against defenders. But same old same old officiating against the small clubs.
This season has been one of fine margins for us so far. The only VAR in our favour was (amazingly but correctly) at Anfield where one of their goals was ruled out for marginal offside. So saved us a point there theoretically.
On the down side I'm still not entirely sure about Jesus foul against Coventry was valid which would have saved us a point. As for Williams " winner” against Spurs, definitely should have been allowed. No clear and obvious error. So 3 points lost, again theoretically. We'd be on 8 points and mid table.
Add on a late ( but entirely legitimate)goal against Leeds and ditto Arsenal. Dont even get me started about Palace.

VAR should be scrapped Keeff. Its still, after all this time way to inconsistent, as you say its down to individual mistakes. Every weekend with VAR, there will be one or two decisions that are found to be wrong by Monday. Then you look at the Championship, all down the human decision-making.
Yes there are as many mistakes or maybe slightly less, but its all down to on the spot decision-making, and i don't know about anyone else but i find that far more acceptable. ?.

I agree RRH!
I thought VAR was brought in for the 'clear and obvious' mistakes, not the microscopic induced cases!
If it's a clear offside that the linesman has missed, then tell the officials.
If it's a clear handball (MUFC against NFFC), then tell the ref. If the ref then decides not to accept the VAR call, then sack the ref!
These lines drawn for offside are NOT clear and obvious mistakes, the line judge cannot be expected to make that call.
But a shirt collar being offside, or a toe, or a finger, deffo NOT clear and obvious.
If VAR stick to 'clear and obvious' then it will. work, it will be fair and it won't take 5 minutes to sort out!
Soap box put away! ?.

Had enough of the Premier league and VAR not interested any more I've been going with this thought for a time and now had it with it, I will still follow my team but refuse to watch any more Premier games on telly I will listen to the matches on the radio, Sky doubled my Sky sports and I canceled it they then offered me a discount no chance!!, I'm not paying to support a corrupt regime like Sky any more TV package goes next we should all cancel Sky maybe someone will listen then sorry rant over, OG out ??.

Must admit I'm not sure about renewing my ticket for next season, not enjoying it as much as before, even when we lost I always had a good day, but no so much nowadays. Shame really.

Spot on Jester get a fire stick. I only watch Forest & thats hard at the moment. Can't stand sitting through a corrupt Premier league match between to teams ive got no interest in. Losing interest in football fast, I never thought that day would come.
Sick of the WWF wrestling matches at ever corner & gutless refs to scared to give a penalty. 10 mins before you can celebrate a goal & most irking of all.
??Backwards & sideways everywhere we go, everywhere we go.?.

Been saying what you're saying for years about VAR Keefe. Reduced to basics, no one ever in the history of football was ruled offside by a toe nail. It's beyond satire.??.
