Questions for you all,
Which is your main focus on the struggle throughout the season? Oi, don't get me wrong, still loads to play for.
1 = owner
2 = Edu
3 = players
4 = coaching staff
5 = money spent.
I wanna see them fingers. Say what ya see.

1 = owner full stop.

Got to say, it all started with Edu coming in. He was responsible for recruitment and spending Mr Ms money (not a bottomless pit). As for our owner, probably the best owner the club has ever had, I think he's spread himself a little bit thin this season, running three clubs I believe.

Then there was the loss of his mother, which hit him hard, and now global shipping is suffering because of Iran. All combined, it has to have taken a toll on the man. We're going in the right direction, Bowie, but it's not over yet.

Brilliant reply Vale, my friend.
Skegs, bud, he invested more than anyone and, for me, with honour, bud. Just saying.

Yes, he's invested a lot of money. That's what a good owner does. What a good owner doesn't do is hire and listen to the wrong people. Not only has he done it once, he's done it numerous times, including listening to a group of players about sacking a manager, getting involved with arguments on the pitch with managers, etc., etc.

And, at the end of the day, he won't walk away from this club skint. But the club could end up that way, and ending up like teams like Wednesday, fester, etc. Still has a lot to learn. And let's see what he does with Peirra if he keeps us up. Just my opinion, whether you like it or not.

Can't say you're wrong, Skegsjay. What you say is the other side of the coin, and as far as I can see, it has a lot of merit. And that's where the problem lies. He could easily walk away and leave the club high and dry. Too many fingers in too many pies.

Thank you Redvale, like I say just my opinion. And I don't expect a lot of people to agree, but that's their opinion. I'm not saying he's a bad owner, but he has made a lot of mistakes over the last 12 months.

He just needs to take a step back. You don't see other top club owners grabbing headlines for the wrong reasons like he does.

Spot on. The "gang of five" episode was outrageous and shameful and should never have happened. And, to be honest, I never thought it could happen at Forest. I'm sure there are plenty on this site who would disagree, but it has to be said.

Nuno messed the season up.
Had a grudge, but signed a new contract and then orchestrated a nice pay off.
Simple.

That's your opinion, Dtp. But we all know how you felt about Nuno, proving you wrong the whole time he was the Forest manager. So that might seem a bit biased coming from you. But, like I say, everyone is entitled to their opinion, pal.

Well done, Bowie, for starting this debate. You could easily reinvent yourself as a therapist. Your post has brought out a lot of honesty. Well done, mate.

Ball is in Mr Ms court, sadly. He brought innocent Edu, who, quite frankly, doesn't know a footballer from a horse! You can lead a horse to water, because it knows it needs to drink. The players Edu brought have no clue what a football is, no clue what running is, and need a satnav to find the goal!

Thats the truth, Skeggs.
You dont sign a new 3 year contract and then start moaning.
We beat Brentford comfortably and got a good point at Palace, so why did Nuno throw the towel in against West Ham at home?

You also don't bring in 3 other managers and sack the person that caused the biggest problem edu if you was wrong.

We're in the semi finals of Europe thanks to your mate nuno no matter what you blame him for also were in a relegation battle for the same reason nuno left he wasn't backed getting the right players in to compete in both the Premier and Europe fact hence why Mr m had to agree in the end and sack edu.? what part about sacking edu that Mr m made do you not understand it really isn't rocket science

You're missing the point, Skeggs, we'd of been fine and Nuno might actually have won something for once in his life as a coach.
But he had other ideas.
It's there to see, no one wanted his to go, not keast Marinakis, but he deliberatly made his position untenable, not arguing about putting Ange and then Dyche in charge as they werent a fit, but you can only get in who is available, and Marinakis wasnt expecting Nuno to do what he did in public more than once.

Marinakis is the owner, Nuno was the employee.
Nuno was rewarded for his achievments, getting us to Europe, but he wanted out with a good pay off.

Nuno started the early season horror show, then Mr M had a complete mare in hiring Ange. When he went whoever thought hiring Cretaceous Dyche was a good idea needs sacking. Easily some of the worst football I've watched from us, he was bailed out on occasion by the talent we have within the squad. Funny how it was that talent who had the meeting with Mr M.

Now we have a top class Coach, tactically great, clearly a fantastic at motivating the lads and gets a tune out of players we all thought were terrible.
We still have a chance of Silverware, Champions League qualification is within reach. But we still need a handful of points to make sure of safety.

To be honest, and be honest, who of you would have predicted the above a few months ago? Not me that's for sure. COYR ?

Late reply, apologies.
It's a combination of a few errors, I believe.
Marinakis for hiring and instilling trust in Edu.
Edu for making bad errors on signings.
Dyche and the wombat have their roles to play.
However, I do believe VP has proved he knows what he is doing, and that shows how the team have found a bond with him.

I don't blame Nuno despite him leaving. He probably left because of Edu, but that boat has sailed.
I would stick with VP, and would not appoint Silva if he's on the Big Greek's sight.
