Opinions please on our new Italian stallion. To me, a major disappointment, no fight, can't keep the ball or lay it off and definitely no goal threat. His stats from Thursday night was as good as mine would of been. I'm old enough to have seen Andrei Silenzi, our previous Italian centre forward.

He was terrible goal wise, but at least he put in a shift in. Jesus has had a lot of stick on here recently but he gives his all and brings other players into the game.

Lucca = Un flop enorme, il piu alto che si possa immaginare (Huge flop, as tall as they come). Il tipo di giocatore che Dyche voleva e che insisteva per portare dentro (The sort of player Dyche wanted and insisted on bringing in). Enough said. ?

I'm sure he will be OK when he leaves us, same as most ex-players.

It's a difficult one. You look at his 14 goals and you see a clinical, positive striker. He scores a great goal against Leeds. Are we playing to his strengths? One thing for sure, effort is a given at any level.

I have not seen much of him, as I don't have tnt. I still think we dither too long in wide positions and should get the crosses in early, like Hutchinson did at Leeds. We might see a different player.

RedRobin, mate, Spazzatura (rubbish). Nothing more than a cheap shot at Dyche and totally untrue. Lucca is no more the "sort of player Dyche wanted and insisted on bringing in" than, say, Pep wanting Harland at Man City, or Arteta wanting Havertz or Gyokeres at Arsenal, or Solanke at Spurs, or Glasner wanting Larson at Palace. Every Premiership team has a big striker (obviously of variable quality).

As for Dyche "insisting" on anything recruitment wise is clearly absolute tosh. The real problem is that when our, no doubt, well remunerated recruitment team sat down at the start of the summer transfer window this season, no one said, "Hang on folks, Woody did a fantastic job last season with his 20 plus goals but he's 34 now, in the twilight of his career and might pick up a few injuries and his body start to creak.

Also, Taiwo picked up a life threatening injury and might never come back as he was. So, let's start looking at a quality centre forward replacement"? Doh! Instead they spaff millions on a large number of sub standard players in other positions. That's a major reason we are where we are. Lucca was a panic loan at the end of January as it became (belatedly) apparent that Woody would be out for a long time.

Never played in the Prem. It's early days and we all remember the infamous "Plankov" Wood comments on here. However, it's obvious that the ridiculous cheap Wood is "il miglior fabbro" (the better craftsman).

As I said, he'll be fine when he leaves us. This is just a well paid waste of time in his footballing career. Don't worry about him. Ndoye will be the same, maybe even McAtee. It's just a blip in their time as a top footballer.

Are we still getting essays about Dyche? ?? Lucca? A Dyche signing? None of you know. Why pretend you do?

I'll save people writing essays. All you need to know about Dyche is summed up in my profile picture.

Exactly Cyclist, Dyche wanted a lump up top for our fly half to target. Obviously, had input in signing a player who is nine feet tall. No cheap shoots, just a boring old piglet defending his messiah. ??... ?

"Fly half." ??? You clearly know as little about rugby as you do about football. Do yourself a favour, mate. Dig out some footage of Pulis's Stoke City or Crazy Gang Wimbledon, then you will see what lump it, route one football looks like.

You are just looking foolish in the eyes of people on here who watch Forest week in, week out... Mindless mantras and propaganda to gain attention, I'm guessing?

Not only rubbish Red but tedious rubbish mate. " Lump it" .???????? we haven't been a lump it team since Hughton mate. I'm losing the will to live reading some of your posts .

Lol, you have been figured out. You write demeaning posts about people who don't agree with, usually in the form of long winded copy and paste quotes from dead poets and writers.
Who are these football experts who think Dyche played good football? You, yourself and boss eyed Karen from customer services in Aldi?

I know what a fly half does lol, i also used to play football at a decent level which i doubt you did seeing as Dyche is your messiah.

I would imagine you were the kid that never got picked and sulked taking your ball home. Those kind of people become referees or Coppers. They also try really hard to get attention by baffling the masses with bull. Just take a look back at 95% of those previous posts of yours.
I rest my case ???

Wow! An absolute tsunami of assumptions and abuse there, Red. I think it's a sure sign that you've lost the argument when you have to resort to personal insults, my friend. It's hard to know where to start, but I'll try. Firstly, fly halves don't lump the ball up to a big guy "up top" in rugby league or union. That would be offside (or a forward pass). Secondly, I don't know what you mean by playing a decent standard of football. Personally, I was University of Wales captain, played at semi pro level in Wales and Notts, and had trials with Notts County alongside the likes of Pedro Richards and Tristram Benjamin. I had, sadly for me, reached my level, and I didn't get a contract.

But I played for Notts Police. I did play for Hucknall Town, Bulwell Town and Bulwell Forest Villa, but shift work meant I had to give it up. That's life, eh! I never sulked, and I've never reffed a game, and I always got picked at school and amateur level because I was reasonably good. As for only boss-eyed Karen from Aldi as my only supporter, you've clearly forgotten, conveniently perhaps, the "Dycheball" poll the Ed kindly conducted on my behalf on here, which showed I was overwhelmingly right about our style of play. Looks like you've made yourself look foolish (and ignorant) again, doesn't it?

Long winded bull ☝️ what a surprise. Well done on totally breaking down my post and explaining it so in depth. I like many here now feel educated by the wealth of wisdom you possess.

Bravo on being able to kick a ball but most refs and dirty coppers can to. I know this personally after playing Devon and Cornwall police several times. Filthy side.
I'm not going to go down the route of dropping names and looking for kudos and likes, no point, but let's just say you played for some terrible sides, ? semi pro my hairy backside.

And I'd like to add everyone and their dog claim to have had trails. Who says i'm making myself look stupid? Oh just you! Typical copper, now judge and jury, Goodnight Captain Horatio Pugwash. ?

I wasn't going to bother replying Red but whenever you come out with such wild assumptions and untruths I will call it out. So, on the basis of a few games against Devon and Cornwall Police, you've decided what a typical cop is like have you? Perhaps you could educate everyone as to what a typical bus driver or gas fitter is like too?

You don't know what teams I played for, apart from the local non Welsh ones. I certainly got a bit of pocket money and travelling expenses, in cash. I'm not talking about £50 grand a week. In most people's books that would count as semi pro wouldn't it?

You said " everyone and their dog had trials"? Which professional team was your trial with mate and how did you get on?

On a lighter note, I had to laugh at your sign off personal insult addressed to " Captain Horatio Pugwash" ???Having had 30 years of virulent verbal abuse in the course of my job, I must say that your playground effort was the sort of thing my 5 year old grandson would come up with when he's being cheeky.

I don't know what you are like as a man, ( as someone said on here it's a football banter website not a dating app) and I refuse to fish out personal insults, but on the basis of your posts you come across as an angry, ignorant person.

Anyway, big day today and I've got more important things to do. I suggest we just agree to disagree and scroll past each other's posts .
