Scouting update on Fenerbahce .
They've just drawn one all at 10 man Kasimpasos at home. They are 3rd bottom of the Turkish League.

And??
2.) 24 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 20:37:30
Well, we play them on Thursday, Stevie. Hence "scouting report", mate. ? ?
3.) 23 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 20:43:55
Stokey, having played them 4 days ago, I guess we might have a reasonable idea on what to expect. ?
4.) 23 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 20:49:13
Expect the unexpected. It's the Forest way, even with a 3 nil advantage.
5.) 23 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 21:14:02
Skegs, if you say so. ?
6.) 23 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 21:46:49
Stokie, you have your say. Anyway, lads, off to bed. Early start in the morning. ?
7.) 23 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 21:54:04
Skegs, yes, because Stokey never has his say on anything. ? Keep your nose out, Skeg. I'm sure Stokey can speak for himself.
8.) 23 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 22:11:56
Well, I deduce a few things about Thursday's game, Stevie. Firstly, Fenerbache have had a day less recovery than us. Secondly, they will fly out Wednesday, so, again, little preparation time or time to recover from knocks. Thirdly, they may well be demoralised by drawing at home to a struggling team with 10 men. It's all good in the lead up. What do you think?
9.) 23 Feb 2026
23 Feb 2026 22:23:01
Stokey, what I think about that is: if we throw a 3-goal lead away to Fenerbahce, we should be looking for our 5th manager! ? They might even rotate because they are playing a lot of games and are chasing Galatasaray, and they also have suspensions. I'm looking to book a flight to Seville, hopefully. ?
10.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 06:43:23
Don't rise to it, Stevie. Stokie is still smarting from Dyche & is hanging on for grim death that his pro-Dyche prediction was correct. He's lit a candle & set up his vidual, and unfortunately it was an 18" one on offer at Poundland, so it might take a fortnight to burn down. ?
11.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 07:49:14
Sack VP before the game, then no one's disappointed. Everybody gets a little win. Bring back Dyche, and more people may get a win listening to you lot. Blaa Blaa.

24 Feb 2026 09:50:07
Larry/Balloons, I think we all know the real meaning of Stokey's post. It was to say, "Look, Fenerbahce can't beat a crap Turkish team with 10 men," diminishing the new manager's result on Thursday, but we know Dyche would have played half a team, camped on the edge of his own 18-yard box, and tried to sneak a draw in Istanbul, in preparation for picking his best eleven and camping on the edge of his own 18-yard box against Liverpool on Sunday.

Aye Mr McKay .? .
Stevie, Seville is a wonderful city mate. You will enjoy it. The Cathedral has a tomb shaped like a ship hanging in the air. This is the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Round the back of the alter is a painting showing all the Catholic saints in procession led by General Franco.
The bull ring is worth a trip but not on bull fighting days. Ernest Hemingway has been there. I visited the attached museum where they try to justify barbarism with all sorts of tosh.
14.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 12:01:34
It's ok, Stokey. Out of principle, I would never go near a bull ring. Disgusting animal torture. Anyone who attends one of those events is a sick b****** as far as I'm concerned.
15.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 12:25:26
Love the bull rings. Wish we had some here.
16.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 14:14:04
If you want to visit the bull ring, catch the train to Birmingham. ?
17.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 14:47:02
I still don't believe you were ever a Prison Officer, Larry. Was it HMP Mothercare? ? ? ? ?.
18.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 18:51:30
Well, I certainly wasn't a desk jockey, aka Custody Sergeant. Eating donuts all day in the stand-back Fusiliers. 50 miles from enemy lines. ? ?
19.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 19:09:51
Someone had to push the library books round for the inmates, Stokey. :)
20.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 20:35:42
I had as many assaults as a Custody Sgt, lads, as I had out on the streets. The only difference was they didn't last as long because help was at hand.
A Custody Sgt was shot dead in the Met a couple of years back, so much for pushing library books round in the reserve lines eh? You lot think it's still like Jack Warner in Dixon of Dock Green! ???
21.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 21:08:43
I know exactly what it's like, Stokie, my son's an inspector. Proper rank. ?
22.) 24 Feb 2026
24 Feb 2026 22:15:50
They play poker as well, balloons - literally. It's a hazardous job.
23.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 09:14:16
From my time as an Acting Inspector, Larry, I have to agree, mate. It's just the right rank to be hands-on, front-line operational, and just out of the politics of the higher ranks. Nice Inspector's pension too, mate. ????
24.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 12:58:48
I must confess that, every month, whenever I look at my Inspector's pension landing in my bank account (along with Staffs Council and State pension, plus wife's teaching and State, plus shares, etc), MC Hammer's wonderful "You can't touch this" comes unbidden into my mind. As I say to my better half, all we have to do is keep breathing...
25.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 13:32:39
Stokey begs the question: what sort of outfit the Met Police must be, that someone under arrest is able to get a firearm into a custody suite. Sounds like amateur hour to me.
26.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 13:52:54
Weren't they Special Constables who brought him in, part-timers or "hobby bobbies" as we used to call them? Terrible tragedy. The deceased was a good man, a Kiwi rugby player and coach.
27.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 14:00:16
Don't get me wrong, there are some superb Special Constables. I once had the pleasure of working with an SC who, in real life, was one of the tax fraud specialists who took down Lester Piggott. A very clever and wonderful chap.
28.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 14:36:42
I think Lester sealed his own fate. He wrote a cheque to the Inland Revenue to pay a fine from an account he hadn't disclosed to them, and it amazes me that they put Lester inside, yet scum from supposed 'higher echelons' of society still walk free.
29.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 14:42:33
Thank goodness we have an independent judiciary to decide on sentencing matters, isn't it then, Stevie? ? ? ? ?
30.) 25 Feb 2026
25 Feb 2026 15:29:42
Yep, independently full of lefty judges. ?
