Great three points but my how poor our passing was at times. Lovely goal from Jesus (about time) and fabulous goal from Taiwo out of nothing. I am especially pleased for him as I thought this part of his game had gone.
Tactics were poor especially second half, but strangely Dyche got the substitutions correct today.

Smash and grab comes to mind, for me play mostly reserves for the Europa and give the main lads a rest for Sunday.
Thought our back four were great today against a team who moved the ball well and created openings.

Massive opportunity for us next Sunday. Hope everyone is up for it. We have last seasons back 5 together now. No reason why we can't push on. Especially considering we have earned 7 points from our last 3 premier games.

Priceless 3 points but still loads of room for improvement.
Passing and ball retention were pathetic at times.
Brentford were all over our midfield and totally bossed that position.
Why don't we put at least one player on or beyond the back post from both our own and the oppositions corners? Most of our corners are overhit and sail straight out and the opposition often get chances at the back post from theirs.

Tbh fred mate. I said on live chat, if hughton wants to play these tactics. Might as well put yates on for mgw. Looking at the game reds, how many of ya look back on murrilos strength on just pushing a player to one side with ease. Williams workrate for me has always been underestimated. milenkovic crucial cover again saved us. And oi you lot remember most of our players player the 7 x dwarfs over Xmas periods.

we need his height probably more than a lot will appreciate, pulling defenders etc. Aina my friends well where do I start on his comeback and influence on the team as a whole. Just soooo happy with today. And above all for BIG T, hope this gives the laddie the confidence he needs bless him.
