Premier League clubs have approved a new alternative PSR, called Squad Cost Ratio (SCR) ; clubs will now be allowed to spend 85 per cent of their revenue, with these finances monitored each season; clubs voted against an anchoring system which many felt was effectively a 'salary cap'

With the new government regulator David Kogan who's been employed by who he knows, not what he knows and will have to stick his nose into and get involved in running football, the new Paramount deal for the Champions League taking some money from the Premier, Sky's contract finishes at the end of the decade, it may be a downward spiral for English football, and the introduction of the European league, and back to no investment in what was the best League in Europe!.

They've also closed the loophole that Villa and Chelsea exploited by stopping sales of hotels and women's teams to boost transfer spends on the men's first team which is a good thing. But I'm sure clubs will find other ways.
