What happened fir the goal ? Just reading bits and pieces, Stephen McLaughlin mistake ? how was he playing at left back?

Stephen Mclaughlin is he leaving in this window ?? don't think he has been given a chance by SP, loaned out to county and done well, now on the bench for us, time to give him his chance.
1.) McGlaughlin came on last night at left back for Lichaj. First 10 mins he looked useless but he grew into the game & looks a realistic proposition at left back.
Felt for Lichaj, left back is now a complete no no, but with Kane looking the business at right back, could be time for the bench.
2.) Cjay, good to hear that, he could do a good job at left back, overlapping ect.
Should be starting games from now on.

Evening gents, the SP supporters are very passionate about keeping him and state the need for stability. My question is were these same people so supportive of previous managers ie SC, SMac SOd AMc ? It is a genuine question that we need to ask ourselves, I personally wanted to keep SOdriscoll.
Don't think any of them had 7 months !

Why we would play a loan player at right back over a player who is here for the long term is beyond me. Lichaj is a quality right back at this level.

I'd like to ask Cjay about his opinion on the Fulham game. Both at Derby and Craven cottage, Forest only seemed to prosper when the opposition's key midfielder came off, i.e second half. It also took us too long to spot how easy it was for McCormack to get shots in on goal -presumably no midfielder from forest tracked him? Forget all the 433 424 531 stuff: is it a simple fact that we have no-one controlling midfield that is still causing us the major problems we have despite having Henri firing on more cyclinders?
7.) In all football matches you have to win the battle for midfield to be able to impose your style onto the opposition. We have failed to do this so often this season. hopefully when we get a fit and functioning midfield we will do this
8.) Bsered: Fact is, no one turned up first half & if not for Wilson & Devries Fulham would have been out of sight. As you suggested, we weren't tracking there midfield runners, coupled with the fact we are not currently operating with a specialist DM. Lansbury was better but Gardner was poor first half. Second half improved because we pushed up to chase the game.
9.) I can't believe someone actually managed to put the words Lichaj and quality in the same sentence.
10.) How did mcloughlin play given this was his first game playing there ?

Gaillimh, going by another post he settled well in left back. And its Mclaughlin every one. I hope he gets a few more starts to prove he can cut it at N.F.F.C

Samaras don't won't him, spoke to several Celtic fans and he plays one good game in 7, flatters to deceive, plus we should be give the young lads a go, these hasbeans and money grabbers are what's wrong with NFFC. Young lads like Mclaughlin should be given more games.
