Great performance last night but just shows what fine margins there are to pick up results. Very similar to previous games that we have failed to win in that we have played well, created chances but failed to win. We raised our game further last night but if not for that little deflection for the goal off keogh Carson may well have saved it. And for the rest of the game we missed several chances and could have gone away with a draw again in a game we deserved to win. That little deflection is the little bit of fortune we haven't had of late.
Before the game I was disappointed with the fact we hadn't sold out tickets for a derby game, but I fully understood an element of apathy with the club at the moment. However, sell out or not the crowd and the atmosphere were simply magnificent. The noise was fantastic the whole game and it was one of the best atmosphere in recent times.
No one is naive about things at the moment but let's hope it kick starts us forward and we start picking up some more wins and get up that table.

It's not all about apathy. Having a game on a Friday night is ridiculous. Not everyone can make weekday games due to work commitments.

It's about time a deflection went our way for a change. We've been on the wrong end of a few lately.
Oliveira deserved his goal and am hopeful he will hit double figures now, has a good shot on him and could be a very good championship striker.
Shame Mendes didn't have his finishing boots on as i never thought one goal was going to be enough. If he can start finishing off his good work he will be some player.

Attendances are concerning Friday weds sat tuesday I can't ever remember a crowd so low for the sheep game.

Let's face facts people are staying away, they've had enough of the performances this season.

Bet there's a few who wished they'd have had more faith last night though.

It's going to take a big improvement to get that extra 4000 fans back through the gates. Crowds are back at the league one levels now aren't they?

Bang on 2star. on the whole it's apathy with the results, the ownership and the club etc etc. Yes Friday and Tuesday night games etc always attract lower gates, but I wouldn't have missed that game last night. It was a tremendous tremendous atmosphere.

The fixtures come out early and give people plenty of time to work round the fixtures, yes some still couldn't make it but even if the game was played today there still wouldn't of been a full house.

its the price of the tickets too and when they are not getting the results fans want whos going to fork out their hard earnd cash when they can watch it on tv.
