Wasn't at the game or protest was anyone on here and do you think that the protest will make things worse or better I'm mixed fawaz seems so unpredictable he could do anything even walk away and leave the club in meltdown anyway good result for us yesterday not seen highlights as been away but going to sit down and watch them later

About a 1000 at the protest. Wasn't a real protest more a gathering of very disgruntled people. Few chants of "We want Fawaz out" in the ground but overall pretty tame. Game played between 2 struggling sides, Osborn quality enough to see Forest through. But they deserved the win.

Nice to see Brazil pick a balanced side and of players prepared to battle. No Kasami, Lica, Dumitru, Lam, Velios. Hopefully we won't see any of these again in a Forest shirt, sooner play the tea lady! Unlikely demonstration will have much of an impact. Gary Brazil up beat about new faces, Omar Bogle perhaps? We need to score more goals. Overall a much needed 3 points but we played a side in free fall.

If you wasn't at the game can you please stop posting. yoir opinion isn't valid unless you attend games. CARLO

Skegs don't be worried Fawaz won't walk away because that would mean He would loose all of the family money and that he can't do. This is the reason He didn't sell to JJm . He wants as much back as possible.

UTF, I think Carlo's rules stretch beyond that. I think even if you went you can't commment if you didn't protest

Carlo I agree with a lot of your posts but this latest one is just plain daft.

We are all entitled to our opinion if you don't like them it's tough This is England and freedom of speech

Look closer it wasn, t me ! Do you think some of our more intense posters don, t actually attend games, you know arm chair fans . CARLO

{Ed007's Note - Why does it matter if posters go to games? They can see as much, if not more, watching on TV or the 'net. There's all manner of reasons why people can't get to matches, it doesn't make them any less a supporter and it certainly doesn't mean they're not allowed an opinion.}

How ridiculous to Lord it up and say people can't have an opinion unless they go to games. Who made you God ? . Pay for me to come back from Brazil for each game and I will go. I went from 4 years of age from a lad to five years ago at the age of 39. I stood at what was the Nelson in Southwell with the Forest trophies as a lad when you were probably not even a twinge in your dads sacks and have travelled all around the country to watch the Reds. Me and others like me have as much of a valid opinion as you pal.

I have been a Forest fan for over 30 years. I live in Ireland so for obvious reasons I can't get to all the games, does that make me less of a supporter? Does it mean I can't come on here now and then to voice an opinion?

Going to games doesn't make you more of a fan at all! If you go to games regularly it means you support them due to being from close proximity. Probably didn't get to choose them as all the family probably support them. If you are from afar it means you chose that team as they were the team you really wanted to support! I wouldn't pay to watch us at the moment as it's hardly value for money!

The replies above have cheered me right up. I can't get to games at the moment but let's be honest we haven't been any good this century so far - anyone who does go to every game deserves a medal!

Carlo my friend not everybody can make it to games. Some people have to work to earn a living. It doesn't make them any less a fan

14.) 22 Jan 2017
22 Jan 2017 22:19:15
I think he's got the mindset that if you have a season ticket or go to all the games your a "real" fan and those who don't go to every game are plastics or arm chair fans. so weather you work, can't make it due to finances or your too ill to attend your not a real fan and so can't comment, even if you do stream and watch it with replays or listen to the game on the radio.

How many fans do Man United, Man City Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs have? How many attend the games? I rest my case!

The post was signed off by CARLO but posted by uptheforest. Then a few comments later uptheforest posted the exact opposite opinion. So what's going on? CARLO and uptheforest same person or uptheforest trolling?

{Ed001's Note - uptheforest was trolling I think.}

Poor Carlo got a lot of heat for that and it wasn't even him posting, shame shame UTF.

Whoever posted that is unimportant really. I am in the military, live miles away and find it exceptionally difficult to attend games. I have supported NFFC for over 40 years held season tickets. When I do get to games the garbage that is produced makes you wonder why you bother with the 200 mile round trip. The drive home after driving to the the ground full of optimism is depressing. We have gone backwards since the current owner has been in charge and if we are not allowed to vent on here because we don't attend more than a couple of games a season then there is something wrong. Armchair fans most of us are not. Most people have other commitments that are more important like it or not. Everyone's opinion is valid. End of.

KLR, everyone is in agreement with you and the other posters, I think the point is the post was just to stir trouble and not a true post mate. I think everyone is appreciative of all our fans whether the can attend games or not, doesn't stop us being fans and having opinions however often you get to see the Trick Trees.

I never said you have to go to games to have an opinion, l said please don't put match reports on if you haven't been. someone has been giving me a bad name. to me this isn't on. I like to think it's not something I personally would do. It's something I've not noticed on here before .

I like to think fellows posters generally are genuine Forest fans who want to see our club regain its good name. CARLO

Yes, it was me who was trolling something that Carlo said on the banter page. carlo is still living in the 70's. people nowadays Carlo can stream matches which means they can watch them like they would on sky so their match report will be just as valid as someone's who went to the game, probably even more believable of a report as they would see replays of key incidents whereas at the game you don't get this. Carlo if a game was on sky sports and someone put a report up would that be ok seeing as they weren't at the game?
