Sat in a restaurant in town, Abdoun sat on the table behind me. Sat with a guy who must be an agent or friend. Been trying my best to listen in to the conversation. Just picked up on a few things. Something about Leicester and the guy saying, I really hope we can find you a club in England to which Abdoun seemed to disagree. The guy also took a call from someone called Andrew and was practically begging him to sort something out for Abdoun. All I could get unfortunately but reading between the lines, doesn't look like he's moving on anytime soon

Highly unlikely but if you genuinely say Andrew, maybe Andrew Neville at Leicester who Is operations director in charge of recruitment

Anyone got any inside info on why he's been frozen out? Genuine info not just he is 'disruptive'. Shame because he's no doubt got ability. Thanks.

Got more from our wide men on saturday in terms of quality than from Abdoun all of last season

Its a pity Abdoun and Djebbour didn't work out, not least for the cost involved. I only saw Abdoun in one game proper, just after he joined and I thought he looked really exciting. But you don't know what happens behind the scenes. Shame.

He's got a decent touch and a decent delivery. I don't see what else. He's physically weak, not quick enough and has zero work ethic. Every time I've seen him for Forest he looks like he 'could' be a half-decent player but lacks most of the qualities required.

Fed up of watching him fall over and expect a free-kick. That might work when you play for the biggest club in Greece but not in the Championship.

I don't mind a 'big-time Charlie' if they have obvious talent but it's detestable when they're distinctly average.

Just from seeing him in the restaurant for 20 mins or so, you can tell he's a bit of a drama queen. Kept making demands of the guy he was with and also of the serving staff, a bit child like. Didn't look a happy chap at all.

Fingers crossed PAOK take him. Biggest waste of money since the David Pratt era. No room for drama queen big time Charlie's in a SP team.

We payed bout 1. 9� for him. And he did look the business in Greek league surely we can get 1m from someone over there.

Abdoun caused various fights at the training ground, constantly going on about how good he was, how he had played in the champions league and being arrogant. He also caused a few fights in the changing room at half time, particularly away at Doncaster rovers where he and Andy Reid fell out. Djebbour was so poor in training, lazy and not interested in the club.

When I saw him snatch the ball off Henri against West Ham for the penalty I thought - that bloke is not right in the head. Looked like a spoilt kid.
