Andy Reid will eventually retire as his injury is to severe and he is struggling to open up his stride when running. Fryatt desperately wants to get fit but putting the club physio on gardening leave for a few months didn't help, he will need another operation before he can think about playing.
The appointment of a manager was slowed down by a second investor coming in to but forest need to finalise the deal as no pre season or fitness programs set up.
Warnock def coming as he and fawaz text and talk (ever since Pearce was in charge) a lot and has been on the cards for ages.

Di-x

1.) 27 May 2016 11:18:32
so how sure are you its Warnock?

2.) 27 May 2016 13:15:15
Who is the second investor? 😏.

3.) 27 May 2016 13:53:13
I bet Fawaz is one of those people on whatsapp who gives you the blue ticks but never replies. Warnock been texting him for a year now saying he'd want to manage but Fawaz just never replies. Seems like the sheep are getting Pearson. Missed opportunity if so.

4.) 27 May 2016 17:23:52
It's not a missed opportunity as Pearson was never interested. Good Manager but I never liked the guy so it's a good fit that he's gone to the sheep.

5.) 27 May 2016 21:45:35
High time Andy Greed moved on and freed some wages up.

Even if he comes back what will you get? 20 games. That would be the best case scenario and we'd only see flashes of the old AR because he'd be coming back from injury or building fitness.

Pointless hanging on to him now.

As for him being a good influence on kids. So is Peppa pig.

6.) 27 May 2016 22:44:46
Pearson wouldn't have come to forest. It's all very well saying you don't like Pearson and the sheep keep blowing out in the playoffs. They in the last 10 years are considerably more successful as much as hurts me to say than us. Yes Pearson is a good fit and he'll take them to the premier league if not 2016/ 17 then the season after for sure if he's not gobbled up by a big team. Need to stop this obsession with Derby and their persuit of success coming close and failing and taking a look at our own special, bigger clubs mess. COYR let's get behind the team. Everything will fall into place we just need to trust those who exist at the top. As for Inman however not for me don't see a link with Lansbury leaving. Love scouting lower league but don't rate him as highly as others. Lansbury has the power. It will be sorted somehow. A word on Reid he was offered a contract out of loyalty and is a good figure of forest and the teams inheritance to have around for another year then give him job in coaching youth or somet 🌳.

29 Aug 2015 07:06:54
Lansbury is out for up too 5-6 weeks with thigh injury. Its been kept hush hush.
Antonio refused to play the other week not because his head wasnt right after a bid from Derby.
Neither Mancienne or hobbs are being sold as forest want a full squad and don't have the time to fill 3 spaces let alone another 1 or 2 more

Di-x

1.) 29 Aug 2015 10:53:18
Well we will see come this afternoon about Lansbury. Very strange that DF didn't mention it in his press interviews yesterday if you're right!! (Or did I just miss it?)

2.) 29 Aug 2015 11:24:47
What a load of rubbish

3.) 29 Aug 2015 12:34:03
I did post this at 17.00 last night

13 Feb 2015 12:41:38
U heard it here first, chris woods has signed on loan

Di-x

1.) 13 Feb 2015 15:41:10
I think not. Woods is injured and Freedman has said that the strikers we got can do the job. Personally I think they can't, but that's just my opinion, what do you guys think? Ed?

{Ed039's Note - Its ashame Greg Halford is out on loan)

2.) 13 Feb 2015 18:23:35
Can we recall Halford?

3.) 13 Feb 2015 17:49:13
Give over Ed e is a donkey

{Ed039's Note - tongue in cheek bud, came to that last season)

4.) 13 Feb 2015 20:49:10
Surely we aren't out of the Woods yet?! You can't see the Woods for the Trees! Come on you Trickies.

5.) 13 Feb 2015 21:15:25
Had me worried Ed
I read Roy Keane book where he said He was the worst player He had ever signed, and He paid 2.5 million for him at Sunderland

{Ed039's Note - that says a lot when you look at some of the signings keane made )

6.) 15 Feb 2015 09:21:03
Hope he can play in defence Playin Collins n Lacelles 2gether don't work found that out last season

12 Aug 2014 21:50:27
Lansbury has admitted he is close to joining burnley, the only thing holding it up is Pearce, who has told him he can Rot in the reserves then leave
Halford gutted he has been told he can leave and wants to stay for another season at least, he is currently talking to Pearce and is hoping to stay
Zaha def not coming to forest
Pearce still wants another 3 players, fawaz has told him to sign whoever he needs

Di-x

{Ed034's Note - haha rubbish

1.) Absolute tosh, how long did you need to make this up!

2.) I thought this was a rumour site, where we can share info with the fans, I tell truths from the horses mouth and u laugh about it Ed?!
If your so close to the club with all your contacts you would know this to be true

{Ed034's Note - they're is no chance whatsoever Pearce has told him to rot in the reserves. He wants him to be in his 11. If he doesn't want to be and demands a transfer, do you really think Pearce would make him do that or do you think he'd sell him and use that money to replace him??
Making yourself look silly pal, that's why I am laughing at you

3.) 12 Aug 2014 22:10:15
you really expect anyone of us to believe this!

4.) I think Pearce was helping lansbury park his car and he said "you're not in reverse!" And lansbury thought he said "you can rot in the reserves".

5.) "sign who you need" - that'd be why we had to sell Darlow and Lascelles to bring in the two new lads?

We're not going to be spending any more. Maybe some loans.

6.) Well well soon see if this is true because he's due back in training I believe and if so according to the op, hl won't feature! (I don't believe it for one minute - sp is a man of integrity and knowing henri well wouldn't do that)

7.) READCAL: that made may day. exactly that is what happened

8.) So come match day on sat when Lansbury is on the bench will you come on here and tell us you made it all up?i think you have got a horse' mouth and a bull's behind mixed up, because what you have just spouted would come out of a bulls behind.

9.) Lansbury will only leave if a premiership London team want him, 2/3 more loan signings to come in, one will be a striker, one will be a all round midfielder (holding and creative)

10.) Henri is going to be offered an improved
contract offer, to the one already on the table
to keep him at our club and away from
Burnley. It's in the press today, so hopefully he'll sign it.

11.) I have heard that we have matched Burnleys offer plus add ons. Henri has been left to think about it until he is fully fit to make his mind up.

12.) Totally unbelievable since Henri has tweeted that can't wait to join in with full training again as been training with Dex whilst recovering and SP expects him to return to full training this week or next week at latest.

13.) Started my day off with a laugh. Henri is a real talent but I don't think his value will be realised until he has a full season without any major injuries. I hope we can keep him for the rest of the season.

14.) Wish that Girl in the Ticket office would stop starting these rumours!

15.) It is a rumours site, it is not a poky pie site. big difference

16.) How can Henri be close to leaving yet rot in the reserves? Poor business as no team will want to buy a player with any sort of lingering disease that causes flesh to rot whether it be in the reserves or anywhere else! Try bromide in your tea mate before coming up with such drivel.

17.) 13 Aug 2014 12:51:07
You' ve all missed the main point- the OP also said SP can buy who he wants and Ronaldo is already in wales, no doubt on the way to the city ground. Anybody seen messi in nottingham?

18.) Mr Messy wandered past just now.

19.) Are we outside of term time or something like that?

20.) 133 unbelievables Ed lol. That's got go be a record?

{Ed034's Note - lol

21.) 14 Aug 2014 08:54:14
Have heard that Lansbury has been looking for houses in Burnley area so maybe some truth to the rumours. Real shame if he does go as one of our outstanding players last season, but you can't knock him for wanting the opportunity to play prem football. let's hope we can get a quality replacement for him if he does go.
COYR

{Ed034's Note - there is no truth that Lansbury has been told to rot in the reserves

22.) Hi Ed the truth I was pertaining to was that he wants away. I agree that SP must see him as an invaluable asset and would not want him to rot in the reserves - hence careful wording 'some truth'. I didn't think I would get away with putting some truth and a load of 'rubbish!'

{Ed034's Note - I believe he wants to play in the prem and has made his feelings clear. It is now down to two things. One if a club matches or comes close to the valuation. Two if Pearce can persuade him to sign a new contract. Whichever comes first

06 Aug 2014 07:43:25
Lansbury handed a transfer requested in last week, Pearce wasnt very happy but lansbury wants out before season starts. Pearce wants another 4 players plus Antonio. Pearce has been told the players coming in need to be on less wages then thoughs leaving. Also I've heard from people at the club that Pearce isn't very popular with the senior players, apparently he doesn't say much and is very strict

Di-x

1.) This just sounds like a put together rumour to get fans backs up again, can we not be so negative. If Lansbury had put a transfer request in I honestly believe that would of been in Fawaz's statement yesterday.

2.) Laughable

3.) Based on some comments from Lansbury this is NOT true. Who is your source?

I think Lansbury will stay! I think we still only need obe more striker and the squad is capable of promotion.

4.) What a load of pony. U r jus trying to stir it all up again

5.) Strict isn't a bad thing. Look at what it did for Cloughie and Alex Ferguson.

I think SP is going to be Cloughie's Forest through and through. Building from the back as the big man did.

If the rumour about Lansbury is true however and Forest have in fact rejected a £5m bid then i'm not adverse to him going. What's the point of keeping a player that doesn't want to be at the CG. Get £6/7m for him and source a replacement. Vaughan can fill his position, Reidy to an extent. I'd like to see Paterson there behind Fryatt and Lars and see how he does.

Who are the realistic replacement options though?

{Ed034's Note - I've heard different.

6.) Ive read some rubbish but this beats it all. Why make up rubbish like this.

7.) Ed, don't tease. Tell us what you have heard

{Ed034's Note - just that they players have bonded well and training has been enjoyable

8.) Really can't see us rejecting a 4m offer if he wanted to go and he knows Pearce very well. I'm sorry but this sound like complete and utter made up rubbish.

9.) What have you heard different ED that hedoes want out I think r Pearcehas done everything right and the club has as well a lot of negativity is nt goodwe as fans do not know what is really happening but from hat has gone on before we need to be patient there ill be ups and dons

{Ed034's Note - just that training has been enjoyable and the new players have slotted in well

10.) Don't believe for a minute Lansbury has put in transfer request otherwise be all over the news as his Agent would be trying to get all clubs interested to bid.

Bringing in players on less wages makes sense nowadays with FFP and losing £10m a year, Fawaz was naive at the start bringing in players on £30k+ a week for a championship club, believe we're 1 of the top 5 spenders on wages in Championship.

Manager needs to be strict and lay down rules otherwise players will overrun the club and the manager will have no hope.

With Antonio coming in (by looks) I think we just need a DM and another striker.

11.) Good news, Ed. Thanks for the insight.

In your infinite wisdom, is Lansbury our top earner, excluding Abdoun who is still on the payroll?

If not, would it be worth making him the top earner to keep his desire at the CG?

{Ed034's Note - no not at all, but the offer put down will make him one of the top earners

12.) If HL had handed in a transfer request his agent would have leaked that info to the press. It's the very 1st thing they do especially if it's been turned down. As it hasn't been reported anywhere I doubt this to be true

13.) I think he deserves to be one of the top earners and maybe a loyalty bonus as a sweetener?

Lets hope he sees sense and signs.

Thanks for the info :)

14.) 06 Aug 2014 09:41:07
One more thing I would add to Lansbury senario, he does have injury problems I would be sad to see him go but how much football will he play for us?/ and young Osborn looks good and can play there come on let's get behind the team and roll with it.

15.) No way he's handed in a TR. Only because someone has read that he rejected a contract earlier this year. Tbh I'm a forest fan, and I would of rejected a contract in the billy Davies final months, sounded like a real horror show of a situation.

16.) Complete non starter, not true all

17.) The info itself came direct from HL himself. I don't want him to leave but the longer he doesn't sign a new contract the less chance of us getting a good fee for him as his contract runs down
I think its good Pearce is strict as it highlights thoughs who aren't up to the task ahead also
Reducing the wage bill makes financial sense

18.) As long as Pearce remains and acts like Pearce as we all know then I feel the club will get the best out of him.

However if the 'off the field management team' environment is untrustworthy, delicate and not pulling together honestly as a unit in the same direction, it doesn't matter who is on the field as this dishonest and disruptive leadership style will not get the best out Pearce nor any of the 'on the field team'. Its just a shame its happened so early in Pearces reign as managers should be able to contribute to big decisions around his future players.

If nothing else it makes sense now why so many other managers walked away from the opportunity to manage Forest after Davies sacking and we were manager less for so long, almost at one point wondering who was still available to manage the club.

My admiration for those that could foresee this and stuck by their gut feelings has raised - and I bet seeing this has confirmed they made the right decision for their own careers.

19.) Re di-x. Players are all media trained and professionals. So I very much doubt that he'd disclose such information with a complete random person.

Even more so as he's Pearces captain too I would expect a lot more of him than to divulge such info. Like I said complete rubbish mate.

Even If he'd have handed a request in we would know about it for sure as someone mentioned earlier his agent would be leaking the news to drum up interest.

{Ed034's Note - Lansbury is not Pearce's captain

20.) Am I right in presuming Di-x is in direct communication with Henri Lansbury then? lol

He hasn't handed in a request. It would be news by now.

21.) Strict is correct especially at the beginning of the reign.

22.) I told u here first so when it all comes out in the wash u will see. I know HL well but u won't know this

{Ed034's Note - if you know him well, I am sure he appreciates you coming on here and telling us all

23.) What a load rubbish, I know this is a rumour site but come on!

The truth is nobody know what's going on behind closed doors but I'm pretty sure Pearce and Landsbury have a good relationship, he played him loads for the U21's.

{Ed034's Note - people do mate, but this sort of thing, I would have presumed, would be out in the media

24.) Sorry ed thought I heard he was vice captain my bad

{Ed034's Note - no worries

25.) 06 Aug 2014 14:59:02
I haven't posted for a few days due to recent drama and all the usual rubbish that goes with it, it tends to stress me out a little when I get to deeply involved so I have decided to let it all wash over me like a cool breeze, ( breathing techniques being applied as I type)But I have to say to Mr Henri Lansbury's mate, come on now mate just leave it,,, please,
And Ed his name is the clue on this one,
It's times like this when I realise what a good job you do pal, GawdenBennett!

{Ed034's Note - lol thanks pal

26.) I have to say I am amazed. We sell two players with 1 season in the championship for more money then some premiership players and world cup players and we still get them back for free and its all doom and gloom. The fact there was a misunderstanding between the owner and manager who were in different countries and Stuart Peace would have sold them but for more is a bit unfortunate but tell me what players have been brought in who are not decent and more importantly are not Stuarts choices. We have the best team in years and we should be positive. If we lose Lansbury its because he wants to go and we have Osborn ready to take his place.

He will get injured then, all the players we like get injured.

2.) 06 Jan 2016 21:48:58
It's all about work rate. We like the players with great work ethic and bust a gut but the consequence is these players burn themselves out.

Inside information- thanks for info on Powell, I've heard it's all agreed too. It's funny how uve heard landsbury wants a prem move, I inform everyone and I get laughed at. Pearce not happy HL wants out but he has made it clear for the past month. Pearce still wants to reinforce mid and Attack

Di-x

{Ed034's Note - you got laughed at because you said Pearce had told him to rot in the reserves, which is rubbish

Abdoun caused various fights at the training ground, constantly going on about how good he was, how he had played in the champions league and being arrogant. He also caused a few fights in the changing room at half time, particularly away at Doncaster rovers where he and Andy Reid fell out. Djebbour was so poor in training, lazy and not interested in the club.
