Massively talented is a massive exageration! He joined the sheep in january when they were flying and slotted in well. £3 million is way too much for a player that wouldn't make that much difference to our team.

{Ed034's Note - very good player IMO and £3m sounds about right for his cost. Would he get ahead of Reid, Lansbury or Vaughan though?? When you spend that sort of money at this level, he had to be seen as a first 11 choice

Completely agree ed I don't really see why we would be interested in him at that price as I don't think he'd get in the first team with the cms we have! 3m on a winger fair enough but 3m one a cm they will need to be very decent to beat Vaughan Lansbury and Reid to a spot in the middle!

Was reading yesterday that Billy Sharp has had to dispel rumours on the bird site that he was training with Derby County.

Perhaps one fake bird site rumour is in retaliation of another? Maybe that's what happens when you give a keyboard to idiot fans with nothing better to do. Maybe.
