Probably nothing in it but Forest are looking into a potential loan deal to bring in Darren Bent, permanent deal would be too expensive. No more than social media rumours.
1.) Same goes for Guediora. Aren't we linked with him every transfer window nowadays?
2.) He's Rubbish! Next
3.) You got something right
{probably nothing bit}
think we need another page called the funniest rumours
{Ed034's Note - the guys only saying what he's heard
4.) Darren bent rubbish? Give over, he'd destroy the championship. Will never happen though, more than good enough for bottom 10 prem teams for me.
5.) Darren Bent couldn"t destroy anything. He's so overated it's laughable!
6.) 30 years of age, 153 goals in 385 games, 13 England caps with 4 international goals. Yeah you're probably right, I don't want that kind of rubbish in a forest shirt either.
7.) Your only as good as your last spell. 3 in 23 for Fulham. With those stats he should fit right in.
8.) Bent maybe lazy, but he ain't rubbish. With Pearce doing the motivating, Bent would score 25. With the quality of strikers we have endured over the last two years, I am amazed anyone would dismiss the quality of Bent.
9.) I dud have him on loan as long as some other club was paying most of the wages, would return a good goal to game ratio with the quality of our midfield
10.) Darren Bent could do no worse than come on loan for a season. The guys confidence is shot to pieces, it wasn't that long ago he was commanding £16 million as a transfer fee.
With Stuart Pearce behind him (motivating and encouraging) he would destroy the Championship. The only problem is would he see dropping a level at the age of 30 a backward step and secondly his wages would be eye watering to say the least even if we paid only 30, 40% of it.
Seems like he didn't do too well at qpr but when I've seen him play for spurs (albeit on the tele) he's looked impressive so I would like to see him under the leadership of SP for sure
Although I think the proposed fee is slightly low I wouldn't mind him going if it means we sign a new no. 9 striker to go with fryatt, lars and a rejuvenated dex
Build from the back, can't go to the prem and expect to be bagging 3 goals every game, a powerful, developing and in depth defence will keep us in the top division. (Assuming we get there ofcourse)
Panic? It's looking like the first choice back 4 will be nursing their injuries past august 9th so making sure we have quality cover shows we have strength in depth. 46 games a season, everyone will get chances to play!
In my opinion Haidara looked class today, no nonsense stuff, intercepted the play and moved the ball on. Him and Laing both looked good and both still very young
{Ed034's Note - hugely impressed with Laing
