If any fans remain in any doubt about the extent to which Fawaz is affecting the morale of the club, its reputation and its chances of finding new owners, read today''s article in the Guardian.

Like I've already said, the bloke is a nutter.

2.) 19 Oct 2016 18:06:45
Yeah but is it true though, ? Anything I read in a paper I take with a pinch of salt. Wouldn't surprise me though.

3.) 19 Oct 2016 18:12:32
It's more likely to be true than not. He's deluded.

4.) 19 Oct 2016 18:25:59
The guardian has been a little unfair to us since fawaz took over. remember all the crap Percy use to put about us. this Taylor bloke seems to not like fawaz one bit. not saying it's not true but the papers run stories true or not. the papers said red bull bid for us which has been said to be rubbish.

5.) 19 Oct 2016 18:41:35
To be fair it sounds about right. How can players still be paid late when Fawaz has just banked 13 million pounds upfront from the sale of Burke. Where has this money gone. Maybe to Kuwait. If Fawaz is at the next home match, the fans should vent their feelings.

6.) 19 Oct 2016 19:09:19
Crazy to read people doubting this, it even says at the bottom of the article that his team haven't disputed the numbers. Deary me. And Taylor himself is a Forest fan and co-wrote the Miracles film if I'm correct? One of the better Football journalists, for sho'. The sale of OB was evidently asset stripping. Why would he not put a sell-on clause in? Presumably because it would've meant less up front cash, which he wanted to recoup some of his losses. Can see this ending in a Blackpool-esque situation unless he drops his daft demands. protests? Maybe. Somethings got to happen, otherwise it'll be players not playing 100%, and selling off the few decent players we have. Division 2 ahoy. Shame, as I'm sure Fawaz started out with semi-decent intentions.

If he was cutting his losses and asset stripping to get all he could back he would of sold Britt and Lansbury as well as they are wanted men. turned a bid down for Britt from Norwich.

{Ed001's Note - actually he asked them to pay more for him and Norwich said no, so not quite turning down money, just being greedy. I know that is out of character for him, obviously.....}

Where you got this info from? anywhere it can be read?

{Ed001's Note - the same place I get all my info, by speaking to the people involved. Not where you can read it no.}

The current regime has the hallmarks of all that is worst in the modern football world : managerial instability ( too many changes), a lack of consultation of senior colleagues, owner interference ( Abdoun etc. ) and an inability to balance the books.

I think Formerly 5th to 8th's analysis is spot on. DF has probably done the best he could within stringent financial restrictions. The problem lies with an owner who failed to head off FFP penalties in the first place, has allowed the club to gain a reputation for unreliability with regard to payments and has failed to build and maintain a stable and robust management structure.

Best news this week. Forest is clearly an autocratic environment at present, so all fault lines lead in one direction.
