Has anyone heard any news on the ground redevelopment?

Ive heard the boat club won't sell, and they are reluctent to reduce the capcity until were are mid table because its our home form that carries us along.

Won’t happen Imo mate, tbh I don’t know we don’t just stick a new roof on what have, lift the roof on the bridgeford end and fill on the corner between bridgeford and Taylor. Job done, no need to go over board, just need more fans to be able to get in.
I’m not in favour of the CG, it’s beyond modernising in my opinion, we should focus on our Prem status.

2Stars, you can not say the City Ground needs moving, it's sacred?. Find somewhere to develop and build a new Ground. Direby did it, moved from the baseball ground, and when I have passed it, it looks good. The Big Man could sell it and build on the land that was the Broadmarch? or somewhere else. In a few years we will have aground like Luton, good for nostalgia, but nothing else!.

2Stars nothing is beyond modernisation.
However like you say Premier Survival and becoming established is priority.

I don’t disagree about the BM barren but think that opportunity has passed us by it would have been brilliant for the city regeneration and brilliant for the forest brand.
For instance forest are Interesting enough for someone passing by the ground on their way to the train station to pop into a museum about the club, they wouldn’t go to Trent Bridge on a special journey.
We should forget the ground a try and establish ourselves as a premier club, that’s going to be very hard. The ground isn’t great but away fans are loving coming to it again with plenty naming it as their favourite- it’s got special appeal.
Like I say modernise the Taylor stand, lift the bridgeford roof, fill in the corner and that’ll tide us over. See where we are in a couple of seasons. The ground isn’t a priority for me.

Don't pull the Boat Club down, there are a lot of memories for the folks of Nottingham in there. The history is just as important as the desires of of NFFC.
