Morning fellow reds
Regarding the pitch invasion. Fully understand the euphoria that led to it but the problem is that when we say the vast majority mean no harm, it's just a minority, leads me to say
In no one is on the pitch that minority isn't either.
When Steve and then the player eventually came back on the pitch the ground was half empty. They deserved better than that.
Having said all this what a season and what support. I honestly can't remember the whole ground so behind the team. And I saw the glory years under Brian and Peter
The noise was amazing.
I also want to say what a job Forza Garibaldi have done. Not just this year but over the last few years. Class 👏 you all deserve an award.
And now to Wembley
Let's show the football world what a special club this is. Be proud shout loud.
You Reds.

If we all stayed in our seats it would allow the players to complete a lap of honour in front of a full house. I'd much prefer that than thousands of idiots screaming around setting off flares and acosting players.

I'm with you guys I stayed in my seat and waited watching idiots with flares and ruining the pitch skidding on their knees.
Just tossers all of them with no regard for other people.
Should be the final warning for our fans now and anyone caught on the pitch receives a lifetime ban and is prosecuted by the police.

I don't agree with it but can see why people do it in the excitement, let's be honest, it's been happening for decades so it is nothing new we are witnessing. There were only so many fans Clough could smack round the ear hole for running on the pitch!

One idiot spoilt that celebration, thank you Sharp for being so gracious, hope you're ok, top bloke.

Slightly different point, anyone think they could get Davis fit for a start for the final?

The club may be punished for the pitch invasion, and it happened again at Port Vale where Swindon players were abused by the home fans. A points deduction would be unfair but we know what the EFL's attitude is, so it would be no surprise.
Of course we should not tolerate what happened at the City ground, but it's worth pointing out that Heckingbottom did nothing to calm the atmosphere down by ramming the ball in Spence's stomach.
When emotions run over you need cool heads like Cooper's to take a lead as he did, and a cool-headed goalkeeper (at times) to again show leadership and re-assurance.
I think Davis will start on the 29th, but he can't be expected to last both halves. If we score he may come off at 50-60 mins or so?
