If there was a meeting today no rumours or leaks,so looks like Pearce has still got a job,i think he should just resign and save Fawaz money on redundancy payment £££🚀

Does anyone else agree with me, Tim Sherwood was either at the ground to show an interest in taking over from Pearce, should he be sacked, or, maybe Farwaz is thinking more along the lines of bringing Sherwood in as an assistant to Pearce. Just a thought.

2.) 11 Jan 2015
Not sure what Sherwood would bring to the party anyway. Very little experience and a bit of a poser.

3.) 11 Jan 2015
If he does resign it should be for himself not fawaz. he has worked from the bottom getting this club back up and running properly so he owes nothing to fawaz and nothing to us. he should do what's right for him not fawaz or you.

I've never been so torn. I love Psycho and want him to succeed because he is my hero, not to mention the fact that the romance of a Forest legend guiding us to victory excites us all. On the flip side of that coin we have trouble handling our doubts as to whether that legend is indeed the man who can push us forward to the victory we all crave. I'm now of the opinion that it's unlikely that Pearce is the right manager at this time to do that. I also fear that this great man could be sacked after next weeks game at the Sheep. This then arms their fans with the very worst type of ammunition we could ever imagine. If our chairman decides to let him go, he must then employ a manager with no connection to Forest at all as I believe he should have done in the first place. It is purely for sentiment and romance that clubs do this. I struggle to see Forest get out of this.

In Pearce's position what he needs is someone with experience to call on, and Sherwood has less than Pearce! It would be an odd appointment to say the least. Out of the three at the game Brian McDermott was the most interesting being there. He has experience of this league, has got teams out etc. Could be something in that. Perhaps Fawaz is sounding out potential's so he can make a quick appointment in the event SP goes?

Boilerman, I agree Pearce should and would go with no payoff of that I'm certain but who do we replace him with ? What do we do now?

7.) 11 Jan 2015
Who ever come I will do well then the players will give up and we will be after a new manager in the summer. can't wait!

8.) 11 Jan 2015
Why would SP go with no payoff? It was very clear from the start that this was to be a medium term appointment ( 2 years). He presumably has a contract for that length of time. It's ironic that those who want him gone expect him to just walk away, in acceptance that he agrees he can't do it. He has never said that, in fact quite the opposite, that he's not going to walk away. If he is forced out, he is entitled to a payoff which will count in terms of expenditure under FFP sanctions for the club so we will be even less able to escape the restrictions than we are now. Go figure!!

If you search :

The Pet-Project Hasn't Worked: Why It's Time to Sack Stuart Pearce

You will find an article written by a journo who at the time thought psycho should be sacked from England u21's.

Lets just say it's chilling to say the least.

Deja vu!? :/

10.) 11 Jan 2015
So what your saying is is that he doesn't like Pearce!

11.) 11 Jan 2015
Just read it, wow! Uncanny.

12.) 11 Jan 2015
Errr no?

I'm saying read the article and see what you think.

I don't care how the guy feels about SP, just the words regarding what was perceived to be going wrong and how the team were playing.

Quote
"England only managed one win from four games before gutlessly surrendering in the second half against a dutch side led by Ryan Babel. "

I don't care who said what and why. All I care about is how the information.

13.) 11 Jan 2015
Great find. Confirms what some of us have been saying for far too long.

14.) 11 Jan 2015
It is like reading a recent article posted a few weeks ago. anyone who still thinks pearce should be given time, wouldn't mind going to watch forest in league one.

Isn't it funny how he leaves little facts out like they were the only team to make it to 4 consecative championships and that in the last championship he couldn't pick his best team as the senior team was using chambo, Walcott, wilshire, sterling and a few others for friendlies.
