What can I say after that performance? I’ve run out of superlatives. VP said it best…. “this is a special squad of players. I ask a lot of them and they keep producing”. Battered, bruised, tired (by Sunday 3 games in 6 days), like Rocky they keep getting up off the canvas and beating teams which are both more expensively assembled (Chelsea, Villa, Spurs) or have had much more recovery time between matches (Sunderland for example).
I know now what VP is scribbling down in his notebook. He’s calculating the minutes each player has played, the combinations and evolving tactics, substitutions….

There’s some science involved but it’s like playing 3 dimensional chess. What a manager! Connected to the fans, great man manager, astute tactician who the players to a man want to play for. Good humoured, never moans, always maintains his dignity on camera (take note Dick Emery). Great charisma too.
He and his players are massively over achieving and winning matches against great odds. Great to be a Forest fan in recent months. Quite remarkable turn around…….

Good post. Missed the game as was working, but what a result. I think 1 point pretty much guarantees we stay up.

I was really concerned when I saw the lineup, but they produced. Well done, Forest.

Hopefully the most negative on here can concede it looks like we are going to pull it off.

Well done, VP, great job in such a short time and has everyone playing with confidence.
