Got the job done against a mid Championship quality side but well organised and difficult to break down. We made hard work of it and I think an Ange team would have bottled it at the end like Swansea.
Credit to SD, good substitutions in personel and timing. Recognised we needed to win tonight and was positive and attacking in the changes he made.
Good to see a few reinforcements arriving. Zinchenko, understandably, looked rusty and lacks pace but a useful squad player.
Luiz oozes class and will have welcomed 45 mins on the pitch. Him staying fit will be vital to our Prem survival, especially with Yates injured.
Ndoye not at the races at all. I hope Hutch replaces him against Spurs.
Dominquez had a good game, tremendous work rate and can influence the game more the further up the pitch he goes. He’s under rated imo and a very very good footballer.
Credit to Kalimuendo and Jesus, both put a shift in and took their chances well. Was Mcteer playing? CHO was a thorn in their side all the match and looked tricky and sharp throughout
Just one criticism…. When we have a 6’7” goal keeper and Morato 6’4”, Malenkovic 6’5”, Sanghere 6’3” etc do we concede from a header after a set piece? ????.

Cus it bypassed them all and ndoye didn't do his job stokey is the simple answer.

I agree with much of what you say Stokey, but to me Zinchenko is not worth a spot in the team. He fluffs almost everything and fails to drop back and defend or tackle. Ndoye lacks confidence but was in the right place with his headers to score.
Size is not important in defence as much as positioning and making a challenge for the ball.
All in all I think the team did well and we have saved some players for Sunday.
Got to admire both Kalimuendo and Jesus, both seem really good blokes and beginning to adapt to Prem League football and demands.

I wonder if Jesus and Kalimuendo would work as a striker partnership, there confidence must be sky high at the moment, it's something I would like Sean Dyche to try.
More experience gained for Abbott, great to see someone from the academy in the Forest team in Europe.

I must of watched a different game ?? Jesus looking good but kalibellendo was non existent until he popped up with a lucky goal from a yard out now we have 2 Maradonas all of a sudden ??.

Skegs - Its not the attackers fault if the midfield cannot spot the runs of strikers and opt to pass sideways or backwards or attempt a shot from 30 yards out.
We need more quality through balls like what MGW produced that created the second goal in the final third.
I think its hard to say how good or weak our strikers are until we see more quality passes to them. We could have Ronado up front but if we can't get the ball to him its pointless.
A major weakness with Forest is the midfielders lack creativity in the final third making it impossible for final third players.

Absolutely spot on Adf
Luiz will be our game changer in that department if we can keep him fit.

Not the midfielders fault they get bypassed by sels and the defence lumping up the ball dycheball style.

Yes Skegs - Sels massively over rated imo. Kicks the ball straight back to the opposition 9 times out of 10.
Need a keeper that can play out from the back - stick with John for a bit.

Whoops! Anybody else mis- read the starting time! Turned on my phone and 56 mins gone! Thought it was 7.45 start. Anyway Kali scored! Quite a half hour followed but we got there. Made the Salmon Tray Bake taste very sweet. One of my better ones. (Omega 3, folks-keeps you calm).

I'm on about all games dtp and John was just as bad it's the dycheball way.
