The High Court winding up order business has still not been fully resolved. The bad PR is still damaging. On one hand we are looking forward to mega sponsorship deals, and on the other hand Forest still appear on todays Courts of Justice winding up list. Whilst I don't think this is anything to worry about, poor administration leads to embarrassment and negativity. I work away from Nottinghamshire and my colleagues had not heard of petential massive investment but, only that Forest were in financial trouble, which we we know is not the case.

This needs resolving, and should not happen again - the only articles we should read about is Forest being successful on the pitch, and positive PR from a well run club.

{Ed034's Note - forest have disputed the claim, hence why this one is still on going. Others, I have been told, have been sorted

1.) It's not like we're struggling to sign anyone. We are doing very good business at home and abroad with no deals falling through or any adverse reports. So quite on the contrary, I would say we have a good reputation. Disputes happen in every business (including mine)!

2.) Good to see our fans judge and jury and finding the administrators guilty. Surely if the legal eagles haven't managed to find them guilty we should see that they may have a valid argument and why would they pay what they don't owe??

3.) HMRC are not always correct in their tax demands and given the sums involved their is no shame in challenging or disputing payment demands.

The winding up order is a crude way of bringing the dispute to a head and is only a problem if you cannot pay once judgement is made!

Await the verdict before making judgement on our club

4.) They are useless, have taken over three years to correctly calculate my tax code despite multiple calls.

Must all be direby supporters

5.) 31 Jul 2014 21:05:08
As it is a civil case the issue of guilt does not apply. They are either held liable or not. Guilt or innocence has no part in it.

6.) All goes to show why we badly need a CEO.
Any further word on this while we are on the subject?

{Ed034's Note - zzzz we know lol This is something that the club have paid and is no longer an issue.

Marco99, why is this madness? they are obviously surplus to SP's requirements, and therefore needed off the wage bill to balance the books, and hopefully free up cash for players that are very much part of SPs plans. We need a squad of 25 well paid decent players rather than 40 average ones. I thougt Cox and Mackie might be part of the plans, but they are not. Wish them well.

There are a lot of rumours going aound, I belive the original source is a credible journalist who has contacts in the Middle East. Seems a lot though. I have heard rumours about significant investment in stadium redevelopent form another source over the weekend, the two could be lnked, mabe be not to the tune of £500m though.
