A good day all round for forest strikers eh...lars scored a hat trick for PEC Zwolle! He's scoring for fun now getting a run in a team.

So what?sums up some peoples thinking that does.
It's good to see that a player we have bought and loaned out has been given a chance and has started scoring goals!

I'm not a lover of European football but, this league Lars plays in currently is the same league that Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord all play in and they aren't slouches. Lars is seemingly scoring for fun so just maybe it's about playing to his strengths???

If you go back over my old posts I was one of a few that always had good things to say about Lars when everyone was calling him crap. The poor lad was getting slated and he'd hardly kicked a ball. I'm happy he is doing well over there and who knows he may even come back even though he has stated he'll never get a game at forest while Doughie is in charge. I just thought you used him in a negative way when everyone was excited about yesterday's performance. You basically said our new striker scored one while the one we farmed out scored three. What's your point?? It's negative and irrelevant , hence the comment, So What!

If a fee hasn't already been agreed for him surely any exploits this season will generate a healthy manager.

At the moment we owe Pearce a huge thanks for the players he invested in.

Who knows what kind of bids we'd have been fending off for asombalonga had he have not got injured.

I still feel fryatt would have been great but he's crocked and probably was when we brought him.

No apology necessary 163red. It wasn't intended to be a negative or sarcastic post, Just one to highlight how well lars is doing and the big impact oliveira and o'Grady both made in the QPR game.

I think Lars has had unfair bad press. Just because he is 6'4" everyone assumes he is a target man and ended up playing as a lone striker or challenging for high balls with his back to goal.

He would benefit from playing off O'Grady in our League as he obviously knows where the goal is once the ball is played into him further up the field!
