On club website Fawaz says the contract is for 18months with an option for both parties to review it in the summer. He has stated he now will only be interviewed by the Club's own Website. Shades of you-know-who there lol

Can't say I blame him. Every time he says something, somebody wants to twist it to suit their own agenda. Where as, the some other person you refer to did have his own agenda, and not one that was for the benefit of the club or it's fans.

He may not want to talk to the press (I haven't seen this story yet) but that will not stop his words being picked-up by them - and you can only imagine that any interpretation will be that little bit more hostile as a result of shutting people out. In any event, it's not a exactly a good sign, is it.

Interesting to note (as an aside) that he implies a number of things in today's post about who's responsible for overspending and the like which have to be clarified/corrected in the article.

If anyone could benefit from a bit of scrutiny, it's Fawaz al Hasawi.

Okay: seen the article now. Doesn't his stance basically amount to saying that he's no longer prepared to answer questions about what goes on at Forest? He's going to take a slamming in the papers for this.

Long gone are the days when we had clubs with a proper PR structure but how many journalists keep talking to the owners of Premiership clubs? Very rare it happens, managers have to manage the lot and I don't think that is a good idea.

Is it just me or does any one else think there is something very wrong at forest? Nothing seems to add up and fawaz seems to be contradicting Himself at every turn.

I'd just like some other peopled view on the situation.

Thered: Par for the course, those looking for Fawaz to do this the conventional way can expect many more sleepless nights as our illustrious owner continues to rummage around in the dark looking for a manager to get us too the Premier league. "Results is all I care about", dispels the myth he's prepared to nurture this as a long term project. he's oblivious to CEO & embargos, he just wants Premier League & I suspect will plough through manager after manager until one gets lucky.

7.) 20 Feb 2015
CJay, to be fair, ploughing through manager after manager at the mighty Reds is not limited to FAH's ownership period.

Cjay- do you think that he is here to stay or he will sell at the end of the season? I think that if forest are in a play off spot that he will sell i'm also worried that if not that he will sell players i know its not in the best interest of the club to do so but he must be losing money hand over fist and will won't to get something back to keep the club going. I wouldn't won't to lose 22mil a year. Just how much is fawas worth? And how much is he prepared to loose?

9.) 20 Feb 2015
Thered: Reluctant to second guess the enigma that is FAH, although i'm convinced he craves the spotlight of the premiership & is prepared to sweep aside all common sense to get there.
I wouldn't like to put a time frame on his plan or consider the implications of its failure. We haven't got a plan B so enjoy the ride.

10.) 20 Feb 2015
Why didn't he just buy a premier league club then? Would of been easier, wouldn't it?

Hes a Forest fan.
