Glad SP has taken the decision to take Harding off. Had a decent start to the season but still not good enough. Will cost us goals throughout the season.

Can Harding not use his right foot?Couple of times today he could of made a simple back pass to Darlow but instead chose to turn full circle and wellie it into the crowd with his left foot. Seems to panick on the Ball whereas Fox seemed to have all the time in the world when in possession . Played well again today.

Rubbish mate he looked ok to me. I find it incredible how you can highlight anyone's performance today.

Agree gazza. He tries his hardest, no question about that but he lacks the quality. Weakest link first half and was starting to get the runaround, needed Antonio covering him but still resorted to booting the ball into the stand on numerous occasions and putting us under pressure from throw ins and corners

I'm a Harding critic but today I thought he had a decent game (for Harding)but still not good enough. he scares the crap out of me when a player runs at him. reading we're poor today going forward and he still struggled for pace. he did make a couple of good tackles and interceptions but he has a error in him every game.

Like hardings effort and yes he has performed well this season so far but he was poor today. Think he needs the George Boyd eye test because he was getting confused where the pitch and the stand was today.
Saying that however we were poor first half and nobody played well.

It was noticeable that Reading attacked our left side more in the first half. Harding looked vulnerable and put the side in trouble on at least two occasions - one where he scuffed a square pass across his own six yard box. Can't wait for Lansbury to be match fit so that Cohen can play LB with Fox as cover. Harding is a liability.

I agree. Harding has improved slightly this season and tries hard but he's nowhere near good enough for us and where we want to be. Thought Lichaj looked much more solid in second half and would keep him at left back til Hobbs/lansbury/vaughan fit or Tesche ready then we can swap fox or cohen to left back. With Fox cohen and lichaj all able to play LB think we have enough cover there and Harding needs moving on with halford and collins. Good luck to him though :-)

He was still slightly exposed. Antonio doesn't track back quite as much as Burke so two men can run at Harding from time to time. I felt first half, Reid and Cohen could have patrolled around the edge of the area more, sweeping across our whole back four when the play had gone past the wingers rather than holding a central position. Harding was decent yesterday but I do feel fox will be first choice left back when we have two fully fit centre halves.
