i have read that brazil. feels derbyshire done enough for a new contract. hope this not true. got a feeling a lot of our so called deadwood will get a second chance under pearce, been down this road before?

Carlton cole would be good if we got rid of Henderson.

I don't think either of them are the answer but Carlton Cole has a better strike rate than Conor Wickham who most people on this site seem to rave about.

Maybe that's the precinct tact test we need. Each potential striker is given a banjo and a barn. They get three attempts and need to hit it more times than Cox.

I think Samaras is SP's first choice target in the summer. I think he'd do well in the championship but he isn;t getting any younger.

A lot has been mentioned about his interest in samaras on the bird site and I believe he worked with him when he managed Man City so already knows what he's all about. His goal ratio for Celtic isn't too bad, 1 in 3.

{Ed034's Note - I fount it funny that the day after pearce signs, the usual outlets were linking him to samaras. its funny how they always feel the need to link a player, but I imagine it would have been difficult with pearce as its been a while since he last managed a club.
the celtic ed on here has said he is very lazy and says we should be praying we don't get him

I think our policy will now change more towards youth players, so I don't real loy expect many new signings in the summer unless we manage to offload some of our deadwood
