Hobbs is wanted jby QPR and Leeds. I would let him go as he is on a long term contract, and this would give Riera, Worrall and Lacovitti a good chance of getting in the team.

I too would sell him for the following reasons. Mills & Hobbs are like for like. We have plenty of options in that position. He is too injury prone. The most important reason we could then play Mancienne in his best position.

As long as we get good dollar for him. If we get Reidy back playing soonish plus Ebecilio just in then at least we also have Mancienne there as well for cover. We have had injuries there for the last few years mind.

agree he's got a dodgy ankle.

I like Hobbs though, seems to have a calibre about him.

we have got too many centre halves though, would we rather not sell Wilson? most on here suggest he's past his best?

Id sell mills, he's useless and we have a better player being kept out of the team to accommodate him.

Hobbs is a crock but getting rid would mean wilson playing and i'd sooner pull my own eyes out.

Can we sell both these overrated crocks

I'd imagine Hobbs is on a decent wage relative to the rest of the squad and if we can get a good price for him I think it might be best to let him go elsewhere. He is injury prone and we do have plenty of cover at the back.

Would like to see Mancienne and Mills at centre-back if Hobbs goes.

Lascelles out Mill In, was 1 in 1 out

But we also lost cover in Collins and Halford, so it only takes a couple of knocks and a suspension and we have Fox at CB again!

Let's face it neither Hobbs nor Wilson have the best injury records. So let's keep what we have at the back, it's a long season!!

I think Mills is very dependable but is at his peak, Hobbs not there yet and still learning, but the problem is he lacks pace, so if Riera is faster then we should give him some games, at that point I might consider selling Hobbs. I agree that with two giant men in the middle we are still letting too many crosses in, so that's a problem needing sorting out.

Flog Wilson for about 8 quid then Hobbs and Mancienne I think would be our best pairing. Not convinced by Mills and hopefully now Hobbs' injury problems are behind him. Operation on his ankle had some complications but should now be sorted. After all the trouble we went to to sign him and people now want to sell him??
