Lars veldwijk off to Brentford, I say take the money and run. However he is guaranteed to score against us next season.

I know everyone laughs at Him and says he's crap but wouldn't we be better off loaning him to Brentford, get him some game time ,which he hasn't had any and monitor his progress, then make a decision . If he adapts and does well we can hang on to him.

DF might already have his mind made up on Lars but I think we should let him out on loan for game time and experience,see how that goes and make a discison then.

Agree with 163red and Daz, give him some game time. Regardless of what league you play in, you don't go from scoring every 1.26 games to being a complete donkey. Unless you move to Forest it would seem.

Don,t know many who,d laugh at him face to face,seen the size on him,still think someone this big and strong might be an asset if he was learned to put himself about,not many would relish him knocking them about!

I agree with all above. Let's give him game time or get him out on loan and see what he can do in this league. He knows where the net is.

Lars may well be the same player as he was in Holland. How do any of us know how good you have to be to score 30 goals in Dutch Division 2. Interesting that Pearce & Dijkhuizen are both managers who were unaware of the quality of defending in the championship prior to signing Lars.

Just because Brentford have signed Lars' old manager it does not mean he is going to Brentford??

He needs to go out on loan in League 1, start scoring and then see how he shapes up!
